One of our favorite foods is dumplings and noodles so had to check out Miami & Bao on a recent visit to Ward. The restaurant was busy and smelled great. Friendly servers welcomed us and ordering via the app was fast and easy.
We went for it and got six dishes. All were very good and tasty. The cucumbers, dumplings and noodles. And all reasonably priced too.
This place reminded me of one of our favorite places to eat in Seattle which is Dough Zone.
Go check em out then next time you’re in the area.

I didn’t expect to like this place very much, but I’m liking all the dishes that I’ve tried from this place. I keep coming bacm for the Spicy Beef Noodle and the Pork Cutlet. The Chili Oil Wonton was amazing, too. I also really like the fruit teas that they served. The portion sizes are perfect as well. Although the menu is limited, each one tastes so good that you’ll keep asking for more.

My “go-to” for delicious pork dumplings and other tasty dishes like chicken cutlet & wonton. I really like to start off my meal with their marinated cucumbers- has just the right amount of spice.. the food has been consistently good, reasonably priced. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is positive.

Today I got to try the Spicy Beef Noodles and really placed lots of meat and it was very tasty. They do not offer paper menu as their menu is available online and accessible with your smartphone. This being my first time and I had lots of questions, which the waitress was very patient with me while being so helpful.

Located in the Ward village shopping plaza, Main and Bao is located front and center as soon as as you pull up to the entrance.
Mian and Bao is a Sichuan–Shanghai style cuisine restaurant known for their handcrafted noodles, and their signature soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao). It’s a modern designed interior while seeving authentic Chinese comfort food.
We decided to check it out during the Honolulu Restaurant week set menu.
HONOLULU Restaurant Week Menu:
$35 Combo (for 2):
Pan Fried Pork Bun, Beef Fried Rice, Chili Oil Dumplings, Marinated Cucumber (vegan), Winter Melon Tea (2 people portion)
Their soup dumplings are amazing and are flavorful. A must try if you visit here.
Price point to food ratio is great and you get decent amount of food for your money.
Free parking garage with lots of parking available.

I went without planning we just around. The menu front the outside doesn’t really looks interesting ngl but once seated we were able to order. Drinks and food came promptly. The store is a lil warm , fans or AC would be appreciated. The cups smelled funky that’s the only thing that pushed me into ordering a house fruit tea which was actively good.
Food was good on point , good portions and temperature.
I would come back eventually I had a good experience.

This is our first time here in Mian and Bao. Ordered beef fried rice, spicy wonton, xiao long bao and shumai. The serving is good for what you pay and tastes very good!! Will definitely go back especially for the fried rice and shumai!!

I tried the xia lom bao cost was 13,99 $ they were not good. Lots of soft pork mixture lard inside. I had to leave half of it.
Taste was mediocre. I went there only to eat them
Because people had put good reviews!!! No thanks! I drove there just for it!!! What a disappointment!!
I also tried the crispy wonton shrimp. Cost was 7,99$ they were alright.
Atmosphere is not better.
What I tried was not to my taste and did not meet MY standards. I have not tried anything else.

Only been here once but the food was really solid and all of the different dumplings + wonton I had were all uniquely flavorful. The prices are decent, especially since you can share some of the food with a group.

Aloha : I am a big fan of Chinese dim sum and over the years Hawaii has lost its old Chinese places and dim sum has definitely suffered until now. This spot can give you some old school feel along with new generation dishes and My Favorite Soup Dumplings —- this is the best spot on Oahu for the soup dumplings. Amazing flavor – and the ginger mix is different from all the other places – very quietly giving you that vinger and ginger sing for the dumplings . You gotta gotta go!!
