We loved it! We had the gator bites with spicy ranch dip, and the seafood dinner with fresh broiled scallops, giant fresh fried shrimp and the best fried oysters we’ve ever had outside of Charleston. Corrie was so attentive and helpful for our first visit. We will be back soon!

I had to share my recent experience at Connie Rae’s. My family and I stopped there on our way back from Georgia. I must admit on first glance I wasn’t 100% sure it would be a place I enjoy however walking in… I couldn’t have been more wrong. We were greeted by Connie Rae her self and had servers that were friendly, respectful and fast. The food was absolutely amazing we had the flounder, hamburger, ribeye and taco salad not one bite of anything was left from any of my family. It is a place we will def be back to when in the area. I highly recommend. Nice to meet you Mrs. Connie. Ps we highly recommend the shrimp cocktail we had that also and it was to die for!!!!

Let’s start with the one negative I have for this restaurant. My wife is very sensitive to chemicals, molds and tobacco smoke. We noticed the tobacco smoke very shortly after placing our order. No molds or chemical smells. To be fair it is probably a good thing to have a restaurant with the quality of food where a person can exercise their choice to smoke and still eat. If we had realized this we probably would not have stopped. But we did stop. With that out of the way the food was the best we have eaten in Bamberg. We will go back for take out even though that is a little slow. The service for dining in is much better. Am tempted to stop every time we drive by.

I don’t eat out much because a lot of places just don’t season their food the way I like it but the seafood platter was outstanding. The customer service was also very good and they are very friendly.
I recommend them to anyone and the wife and I will be eating there again.

Ira & I have thoroughly enjoyed all the food we’ve eaten at Connie Rae’s. Best gator tail around Bamberg & the seafood is AWESOME! Great atmosphere & service is great! We look forward to eating there more often!!!

One of the best hamburgers I’ve ever tasted!! The double bacon cheeseburger will not disappoint and the pimento cheese hamburger is simply outstanding!! We were passing by Bamberg from Charleston and although not a planned stop, I can see future trips repeating dinner at Connie Rae’s!!

So this was my 2nd time visiting and I went back because the food was good. The servers were very helpful and friendly. However, there was one thing that bothered me at the end of my visit. My server was cutting up tomatoes on a counter in the back but stopped to come ring my bill up. She didn’t have on any gloves and when she finished ringing me up, she went right back to cutting up tomatoes and touching them with her bare hands. That bothered me! She never once washed her hands. The fact that I had just eaten a delicious salad with tomatoes in it made me cringe and feel nauseous. That alone made me wonder how sanitary is this place. Is everyone using bare unwashed hands to fix food? I don’t know if I would come back again now.

Buddy had shrimp cocktail w/seafood dinner he loved it. I had a ribeye steak that was done very rare and it was exactly the way I ordered it mouth watering one of the best steaks I have had. Waitress was super I would recommend that place to anyone looking for great food

I ordered from Connie Rays for the first time tonight. At around 8pm I called in and ordered a flounder fish dinner and a PO Boys dinner, speaking to the person about 10 minutes. The first problem occurred when I requested please to have the food brought out “curbside”. I had given my name for the order and told the person who took my order on the phone that I would send my daughter to pick up my order. She told me that was fine and my food would be ready in about 20 minutes.
However when my daughter arrived at the restaurant to pick up my order, she was told that no one “knew anything abut my order”. This was at night and was very disturbing to my daughter. So I called the restaurant and explained the situation. I was very disappointed as this was my first time ordering from Connie Rays.
The second problem was with the actual food. I ordered two pieces of FLOUNDER fish, hush puppies and extra cocktail sauce. But the fish tasted bitter and did not taste at all like founder and my order contained NO
cocktail sauce. that I had requested. My daughter said that her PO BOY was very good though and that was the only good part of the whole order.
Finally, the person that took my order on the phone told me that she was “new” and wasn’t sure of the menu items or their cost. She told me that my order would be $30, however when the order was picked up it was almost $34.
Overall, I was very disappointed with my first experience with Connie Rays due to all of these problems. I dont think that I will return there!!!

Took the kids to eat dinner and they really enjoyed themselves.You can shoot pool play the bowling game or even Pacman. It was a very family friendly environment with friendly people. The food was great!! Hint hint try the Club.
