Store is to worried about moving you to the next windows that they screw your order up. Pay for 6 get 4. Why ask what dipping sauce if your putting any in the bag. No ICE in my large sw,ICE tea. NOT about the money, I get min for lunch, no time to come back so you can fix your mistakes..

This McDonald’s has the lowest star rating in a 50 Mile Radius despite being less than a year old. Re-Reviewing this place and it’s unfortunate that I am right. Super Slow, food orders are wrong and they love, love, love to cheat their times. They will make you pull forward even if there is only one person in the drive-thru. The definition of comercalized and just not good.
Old Review (Right when they opened)
This already feels like it’s going to be one of the worst McDonald’s in all of Winston-Salem. I know the entire design is supposed to be about moving towards moving faster, and the drive-thru experience. But it very much feels like the investors missed the mark on this one. The design is fairly lazy, very basic interior, no drink machine, no plugs, not even a real place for condiments outside of one little corner. Overall, it’s definitely a feeling of the most commercialized version of McDonald’s that you could possibly have. There is no level of the old days at McDonald’s or even a place where you would go regularly to sit down and have a cup of coffee. In addition, it doesn’t particularly make sense with the design where you have one area where you walk in to pick up doordash orders in another area where you can walk into the store and also get the pickup area. I did order a double quarter pounder with cheese, with some variations and the burger was very good but this was also in the early days. The prices also are higher than any of the other McDonald’s in the area.

Brand new McDonalds, same old service. I ordered a McDouble and when I took a bite it felt very dry. Why you may ask? It has no sauce at all or even pickles.
Highly disappointed by this as I was the only one in line, no other customer in sight so I am not sure how they missed this.

Just a quick shout-out to Alfonzo. He is one of the best fast food customer service personnel I have ever encountered. He is honest, respectful, and caring. Many fast food workers lack a caring spirit. I value quality customer service and respect the most as a customer, and this guy shines on both. Hopefully you realize what a gem you have here. Give this guy a raise and protect him at all costs!

Today I placed my order through the app. When I arrived, the app notified me that it was already closed, so I approached the young woman who said everything was still open, because the app indicated otherwise. She very rudely replied that she couldn’t see it was open. After that, I told her I had come to pick up my order through the app and gave her my order number. Without any further explanation or explanation, she told me, “This isn’t the place, it’s somewhere else. This isn’t your order. Please double-check your information because I don’t have anything on file.” She was very rude and arrogant.

After a several minute wait & them giving me the wrong food at the drive thru which I realized after driving 1/2 a mile. I returned to get it corrected and they made.me wait again for minutes to only get a very poor response from the staff, then once the girl came with the good she quickly handed it to.me and closed the window w/NO thank you nore any apology from anyone even though I asked her to let me check the order, nope.
I then saw that it was not frsh and the fries were not hot. I took the food into the lobby to request a refund. The shift Mgr was in a rush an didn’t even look at me when trying to explain things. Very rude and untrained for customer service! Now that I’m inside can see this brand new restaurant is quite filthy &unsanitary with smudges & finger prints among other smudges on doors & windows.. it also looks as if the floors had not been cleaned in a couple of shifts. This is at 11:10 in the AM with very few customers present.
A respectable business would’ve offered to rebook or at least offered this over priced meal to me for such the inconvenience!! Sad

When you first walk in, you see the kiosk where you can order your food. If you go straight you will see a counter with one register and no menu to look at. The table has flower pots that cannot be moved. Unfortunately, they’re in the way where you put your tray or food. The dining area is also small in comparison to other McDonald’s. I would stop there if I was near Somerset Drive. However, I prefer the McDonald’s on Jonestown Road. I’ve went on lunch to this McDonald’s twice this week and have had bad service cold fries things left out my bag were I had to turn around on my lunch break and go back,then to top it off Today 10-24-2025 my fries were getting replaced because the were old and hard, something said look around to the kitchen ,the Manger dropped my fries on the floor and encourage customer service(cashier )to give me the fries anyway, when see saw me looking I said yes I see I’m looking. The manger replaced the fries but why were you going to give me fries off the floor??¿???that’s not hygienic for a restaurant that has a 100% y’all have to do better then this people are watching you rather you see them or not and as a Manger that’s very unacceptable period !

The longest wait of any McDonalds in town and they always fill my drink 70% and they always fill my Large fries half way. Im a fan of McDonalds but this one is one of the worst locations ive ever been to.

Fast food ?? Is not fast at all. I just order 4 $5 dl meal. And I been waiting for 10 minutes and nothing. Nobody in front of me or behind me. This is 1 minutes driving from my house and I understood when was new A lot of people is new but it’s been a few months now and still they’re so slow. I don’t know if he’s the management or the employees because I know they tried to give you a good service but oh my gosh 10 minutes waiting for a fast food where nobody was in line.
