Tokyo Cuisine is truly a hidden gem tucked behind CVS, but be prepared for a potential time crunch. I was quoted a specific pickup time, yet ended up waiting a horrendous hour past that original estimate. It was incredibly frustrating to sit there for so long.
However, once I finally got the food, it was absolutely amazing. The quality and flavor are so good that they actually made up for the delay. The quality of the cuts of chicken were so perfect it will have you questioning if what their competition is using is even real.
If you have the patience, the meal is worth it, but definitely keep the timing in mind! If you dine in I dont believe you have to wait as long. I was told by another man there to pick up his food that this wait time is pretty normal.

We’ve ate here twice now, and both times we had exceptional service and food! The restaurant is clean and comfortable. The food was prepared quickly and presented beautifully. Everything tasted great! The only 2 downsides are: parking isn’t that great and the menu is NOT kid friendly. But we made it work.
We’re from out of town, but when we come back by the area, we will definitely visit them again!

I ordered carry out from here the other night. While I didn’t find the food particularly special, for the price, it is a good option. I personally think Taku is way better, but the vibe inside Tokyo Cuisine was already really cool. It’s definitely worth trying!

Delicious sushi, friendly helpful staff, and relaxing atmosphere. My family and I ordered and shared five different sushi options and they were all great. My favorite was the Two-in-One Spicy sushi.

Don’t judge a book by its cover! The unassuming little storefront gives way to an expansive dining room. Service was polite, prompt and pleasant and the sushi was excellent. The lunch specials made me thing we were in 2019 and you got a LOT for your money while still getting quality. Sushi was very fresh and delicious.

We had an Excellent server he gave us great recommendations the place itself was very clean with a low key Atmosphere and now to the food I have to say they have the best sushi hands down we travel a lot so we try a lot of sushi and this is by far just amazingly perfect definitely will be back to eat there again !

The food was delicious. A lot of sushi places don’t season the rice properly but this one was legit. The sushi bar at the back looks just like the one we used to go to in Japan. My husband had the hibachi chicken, my teen had the Bento box and I had futomaki sushi. We all really enjoyed it. Hard to believe we found this authentic gem in small town indiana.
