Best Mexican ice cream I’ve had in the state!! Absolutely recommend the Abuelita ice cream! And it’s also one of the few places that sell fresh agua frescas and there’s always new flavors whenever I go. My daughter loves the play area too, highly recommend!

Omg this place is sooo underrated! My grandma and I were craving something sweet and I found La Michoacana on DoorDash. The food was so delicious and they overfilled the containers so much it had to be taped ! The lady’s at the desk were so sweet too. My whole experience was amazing and a 100/10! Definitely recommend ❤️!

Amazing establishment! Clean, friendly, decent prices for Alaska standards, and always fresh quality fruits.
I had a bit of everything while visiting and couldn’t help myself but to purchase a large order to take with me (drive to Fairbanks) they were helpful and kind. For those unfamiliar with the flavors and options, they were able to provide detailed information of the product and were able to answer all my questions.
Glad to have such an amazing establishment in Alaska.

Was charged incorrectly for the items I ordered. My order was supposed to be $36 but I was charged $62. Did not realize it until it was too late. No receipts were offered. Overall delicious snacks and kid friendly environment. Would go again for ice cream. If you decide to go, make sure to calculate your total!!

Wow, what a wonderful experience we had. The food was spectacular, and our daughter thoroughly enjoyed the play area. I had a torta Milanesa which was fantastic!! I then also had a some cocoa abuela ice cream. We will definitely be back. Their menu was huge. The service was so friendly too.

I truly wish I had taken better pictures because the desserts were absolutely amazing! The service was exceptional—everyone was so welcoming, and we were greeted with a smile as soon as we walked in. I loved the atmosphere, with plenty of games to enjoy while we sat and ate. Even after closing time, no one rushed us out, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely be back!

Delicious food and great service. We order mangonadas and esquites every time we go. The mangonada is served with tasty candies and is the perfect mix of sweet, sour, and spicy. I live in the valley but sometimes I want to drive to Anchorage just for their mangonada haha. The esquites are served hot. They sell different flavors or popsicles/ice pops. My favorite is the tamarind but I’ve tried a bunch of other flavors and they’ve all been great. Their tostadas de shrimp ceviche is soooo good! I wasn’t sure what to expect but tried it since it was recommended by a friend. We also recently tried the strawberry and cream drink and that was really good! I’m looking forward to trying more of their menu.
The staff have always been welcoming and friendly. The inside is very clean and roomy with a good amount of tables for dining in. There is an area with Pacman arcade games and a children’s play area. The atmosphere is very relaxed and we never feel rushed while there.

I heard some good reviews from my neighbor saying it was the best ice cream he has ever eaten so I decided to stop in there and have a look myself. i got the pistachio and the mocha and they were superduper amazing, I would say that it’s probably the best ice cream that I’ve ever had. It got a different texture to it very thick, and Sweet and a different texture, which makes it super amazing. It’s almost like biting into a coconut type of ice cream, but no coconut that makes any sense. Fantastic. Definitely will be back again.

You can find this shop in a shopping strip on Tudor with the Ghost Kitchen. Super cute and colorfully decorated little ice shop. The owner(s) of this place put a lot of thoughts and creativity into this place. You can tell by the decorations along with the murals. They do have some food you can order as well. My 7 years old got the Cookie Monster ice cream, the 5 years old got the strawberry popsicle, and I got a 16 oz horchata and a fruit cup. Came to be $30 with tip. 7 years old enjoyed his ice cream; the 5 years old was not used to the fresh ice cream and wanted me to take the seeds out of the popsicles. I took a bite of his ice cream and his older brother finished it. It was quite fresh and delicious. Horchata was delicious and fruit cup was fresh and a good size for $8.99. Kids enjoyed playing in the play area. Not many customers so the girls working at the counter were attentive and friendly. Would recommend and will come back. They have a loyal stamp card as well.
