It’s a mouthful to say the place’s name, but more than a mouthful of a sandwich.
I had the Cuban Tortas—which, I’m pretty picky about my Cubans, and was perfectly pleased.
Amazing breaded beef—also had hot dog sausage. The salsa was very unique. Pickled jalapeños were a great touch. And it was pressed to perfection.
Very friendly service. Simple, pleasing atmosphere.
Just $13 for the sandwich, and there was so much, I ate it for lunch AND dinner.
Definitely coming back on my next foray down First Avenue.

We visited on Valentine’s Day and were pleasantly surprised we could still use our Groupon voucher. Carlos was kind, attentive, and never lost his smile despite the crowd. The bartender was also friendly and served our requested shots. The breakfast burger and steak enchiladas verde were delicious, and the homemade hot sauce was a standout. Fresh fruit and tasty soup too we’ll definitely be back!

Stopped by on a work trip and was pretty quiet walking in but greeted promptly and sat at a clean table and the menu was great I ordered the Biria burrito with guacamole and horchata. Every was delicious and they even have some great hot sauce in little squeeze bottles. Great spot for lunch. With tip came out to $30 pretty good lunch and very prompt service. Would absolutely return.

This is a recent discovery for us in the neighborhood, and we’re happy to have found it. The menu is eclectic in alignment with the restaurant name, and the dishes that we’ve had so far have been great (the bowls are particularly terrific!). I’m already looking forward to our next visit there, and give the Mexiterranean Grill a great review. Please keep up the great work!

Staying in NYC for a few weeks and this was the 1st place we chose to eat, because it’s Cinco De Mayo! The place is small with several 2 seat and 4 seat arrangements. We got lucky and got seated quickly (reservations are good). The menu is a uniquely weird mix of Mediterranean and Mexican food, but the food leans 80/20 to the Mexican side. For example falafel was on the menu, and it was good. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. We had the tortilla soup which was tasty, but needed more ingredients, my sisters homily soup was more brothy. Staff was busy but attentive. We both got enchiladas mole and salsa verde. We enjoyed it immensely, we took the leftovers home for breakfast. Lastly I need to mention the yogurt smoothie, it was SO good! I got two and the 2nd one was better than the 1st. So if you go definitely get the yogurt smoothie. Will probably go back to sample the other items. 5/8 – got the Happy Hour special frozen margaritas and the molcajete grill special ($47) for 2 people. Wow, what a steal! We also got the flautas app. These were really good, bite sized tacitos. 5/9 – we ordered from GrubHub got the bowls, good portion, not too heavy, better than Chipotle.

10/10 across the board. Been coming here for a while now. These chicken flautas were the best I’ve ever had! Had so much flavor! I usually get their chicken quesadillas. Anytime I come, I get their happy hour frozen margaritas. Honestly 2 of them will get you to where you need. The staff and waitress were so accommodating and nice. They always have a customer.

Nice neighborhood Mexican place serving up good tacos and excellent margaritas. I’m not sure I get why a few middle eastern dishes also feature on the menu -apart from the name of the place – but haven’t tried them so can’t really comment. The tacos were all on point though – the carnitas being my favorite. And the margaritas were excellent, especially the spicy mango.

Great service! Waitress is very attentive. They were about to close and she kindly said she would keep the kitchen open for us. She also gave us menu recommendations.

The falafel platter ($12, plus tax) was a healthy, tasty meal. It comes with 5 pieces of falafel on a bed of greens, hummus, tahini and a pita. For a nonalcoholic beverage, I would recommend the cucumber-lime aqua fresca ($7 for the large). It had the right balance of freshness, acidity, and mild sweetness…definitely a great summer drink.
