Better than a lot of brick and mortar resturants at a fraction of the price! Great noodle dishes but especially recommend the curries. Portions are very generous so don’t be afraid to split with a friend.

Thai food continues to be my go-to choice for Asian food in Portland, and this place didn’t disappoint either. I tried the pumpkin curry, which was very rich in taste and had a nice blend of sweet and savory flavors. The 3/5 spice level offered the right amount of heat combined with the pumpkin curry flavor.
This is a food truck, and they have nowhere to sit but we walked to a nearby food cart park ~2 min away with seating and ate there. Also the pumpkin tempura was decent as well as the pad see ew.

Best Pad Thai and a great value! We ordered the Pad Thai and Potsticker with peanut sauce special for $11. It was so good and a very generous portion! We had to take a break halfway through bc we were devouring it. We ordered it medium spicy and then stirred in the peanut sauce. (Sorry, we dug into it before we remembered to take pics!)
I also got a coconut pineapple smoothie, and it tasted great, like it was made from real fruit, not overly sweet or fake. I’m so thankful this place is within walking distance to my house because I want to try everything on their menu now!

This is the best Thai food on the block! I got their Yellow Curry lunch special with their soup and iced coffee for $10. It was extremely good and you could tell they care about how their food tastes. They also treat their customers with extreme expect. As others have said, the portions are very generous and I would even agrue you could buy one meal and share with someone else.
Highly reccomend and will keep going back!

Food truck heaven, well technically it’s a trailer, but that doesn’t matter. The food was marvelous! We tried autumn curry, pineapple curry, and the pad Thai. Everything was top notch. I’ve paid more then double for lower quality Thai food.

Nice little staple cart in front of PSU. I remember passing it when I was a student a few years ago. While in the area, I decided to give it a try. I ordered the pad see ew. While the food was undeniably good, it contained a shard of metal bigger than my thumb nail. I nearly swallowed it, but choked it back up. My throat is a bit sore from where it got stuck. I binned the rest of my meal after this.
Hopefully this is a one-off incident, but buyer beware – inspect your bites before you take them.

“CRUNCHY” =CHEWY/HARD. Pretty upset. The OMG was OLD. Lemonade was lemon juice and strawberry pureee with water. I’ve had children lemonade stands with better quality.

This place is always delicious. The owner is the sweetest and remembers who you are. Consistent no matter the time of day. Definitely my go to for Thai.

Service with a smile, and amazing quality and portion sizes for the price! It can get pretty busy during popular hours, but its worth the wait. The owners of this cart really are trying to provide the best prices for their customers. They’re probably the only place I’ve seen that’s recently dropped their prices a bit, after having to raise them a while ago due to economy politics.

P.S. – if you like your food super spicy, you gotta REALLY emphasize that. Their “spicy” is moderate, but I am a bit of a spice fiend.

Poompui is my go to lunch spot when I’m in the office. I’ve frequented them for about 3 years. They offer vegan versions of most items. My favorite is vegan pad see ew with tempeh, which is wide rice noodle with broccoli, carrot, and cabbage stir-fried with black soy sauce. Delicious, filling and reasonably priced. Pad see ew runs $8.
