In a few short words: Great taste, poor service.
Lots of stuff for them to figure out, like they opened early to take money in without finishing planning, construction, cleanup or training their employees fully.
Okay, why? First, it seems like they opened without really finishing construction or planning their drive through routes fully. It’s very awkward to get into the parking lot of drive through line because one entrance is entirely blocked off. Then, the other entrance is one of the entrances where you can only make a right turn into it, even though it’s on the left… So you have the choice to break the law, or go way up the road and turn around, the make your entrance.
Sure fine, they just opened. Look past it, get food, then go. Simply ordered two sundaes, one with 2 toppings one with 3 toppings. The gentleman at the pay window took the order no problems! No receipt but no big deal.
He says pull forward on the right, and there are no clearly defined areas for where to go but get in line. Only to wait in like 25 minutes, before just interrupting one of the employees to ask where the sundaes are and he asked for the number, went and got them and brought them out right away, within probably 30 seconds.
I asked what happened and he said “sorry sundaes were backed up and so many people got mad they drove off” well, I wonder why that would be Mr. Culvers worker.
The sundaes were fantastic though. Creamy, good and fresh toppings, on nice and tasty vanilla custard.
The price was also realistic.

Giving 3 stars because I’ve had this before and it was great. However, just got my food and I took the patty and top bun off (which were thrown together) and this is what my sandwiches look like. I did ask for ketchup and mustard… barely any on there. I also asked for my onions on the burger not all over the box. Extremely disappointed.

The drive-through is poorly designed and confusing. In some lanes they make you park along a curb, and it’s chaos as the workers come out to deliver food because it doesn’t come out in order. It’s comical watching the workers trying to find the right cars. Someone needs to go to Chick-fil-A to see how it should be done. I tried the fish sandwich and it was ok, but won’t repeat.

NO SMILES here! Everything we got was wrong
3/4 of our food was missing the rest was incorrect. Ruined our Valentine’s Day, we were in tears because we spent $42 and had NO meal. Not going back out in the winter to get more it would take at least 40 mins. It’s a shame we used to love it but will not be going back because this hasn’t happened just once. Happy celebrating to us! (Said SARCASTICALLY!!) PS making double sure everyone knows it’s the New Albany location. Do not go to New Albany IF you have to go to Culver’s pick a different location. This has happened too many times at the New Albany location

Dined in. Got the Walleye sandwich, onion rings and a drink. The young lady taking the order was super sweet and courteous. Staff working thru the dining area were very attentive and asked several times if everything was ok. I believe one of them was named Shawn. Sandwich was awesome and well as the onion rings.

From the moment you step into this Culver’s, you feel welcome, you feel like family, and you feel like you’re about to have a great experience. I cannot stress enough how absolutely incredible this staff is. How immaculate and clean this restaurant is. And how insanely delicious and fresh this food is. We were checked on and chatted with no less than 5 very genuine and friendly associates. Our food was so tasty, I got the spicy chicken sandwich and my Mom the plain. This was the best spicy chicken sandwich I’ve had, ever. The seasoning was perfect, the flavor, the crunch, the bun. Too often you dine out and the food is mediocre or worse, bad. Or the staff seems begrudging to take care of you. Not at Culver’s! They really care about their customers, in every way and it absolutely shows. I can’t wait to go back! Thank you Culver’s, seriously. It was so nice to be treated so kindly and eat such tasty food.

Very kind woman answered all my questions patiently at the drive through, and the food was fresh and wonderful. Especially like the grilled chicken sandwich and how it tastes like fresh chicken, rather than like too much seasoning or vinegar, like at some other places. Burgers, chili, and chocolate caramel custard were all good. Really like how they put a sticky note on the car side mirror so they can be sure they give us the right order. Excited to come back when we can.

Fish meal was delicious! Large fillets. Fries were good– crinkle cut are my favorite . Reuben melt was so-so, will not order again . The turtle sundae–ice cream was so creamy, but the pecans had an off-taste, almost a burnt taste.
I think there should be better signage to enter parking lot. Also, the enter/exit of parking lot on the did street, there is a divider that is not situated correctly, in my opinion. One day, a lady kept running over it (it can be difficult to navigate through), going back and forth over divider to get out of parking lot. Then another day, I hit the curb of the divider. Something needs to be done about this. I noticed another reviewer commenting on this also. There is no need for a divider in that narrow space.

Last night I witnessed a customer being yelled at by a staff person whose name I learned is Christina. The customer was very polite and seems like the servers brought the wrong food to their table which she was explaining. All the other employees also looked visibly uncomfortable by Christina’s behavior. She was blaming the customer for receiving the wrong order at her table which was very confusing. One of the male workers came into the conversation and threatened that they can deny service. Very weird interaction and uncalled for response.

We visited on 12/24 and were greeted by the most friendly staff! Everyone was extremely polite and accommodating. Several staff members visited our table to check in on us and make recommendations of what to try on our next visit. We had our little one with us and one of the staff members brought over a high chair before we could even ask! They cleared our trash and held the door for us too. We left very impressed with the friendly service and will definitely be back! Thank you to Donna and the team at Culver’s!
