Friendly. Prompt service. That’s starting everything off to a great start…

The food was as prompt as the service.
Before the thought formed? She was at our table, (Lillie), like a magical genie we summoned sub consciously.
Breakfast 24/7. < more points scored.
Burgers were tasty, fries on point.
Hashbrowns deluxe.
Started to be disappoint that a side of links were only “2”. Not when they arrived. Fattest links I’ve ever seen.
I can’t say enough good about this place.
Charm. Ambiance. Quality. Service.

We stopped here on the way to go duck hunting this morning. Everything was super good. The service was quick and great. We will definently return! Thanks for the yummy hot breakfast!

Took my 4 y/o on a mommy and son date for lunch. The service was great. Friendly smiles and was greeted as soon as we walked in. My son ordered a strawberry shake a cheese burger while I ordered the mushroom swiss burger with a basket of fries to share. The servings are big, food was fresh and tasted amazing, and the strawberry milkshake was the icing on the cake. So goood! Will definitely be back with the whole family.

About time Buhl opened a new place to eat. I believe we have 6+ great Mexican restaurants in Buhl but only 2 and now 3 places serving American food that aren’t fast food. We stopped by this week and we were very pleasantly surprised. Old fashioned malt in a traditional stem glass, cheeseburger with toasted bun and a huge plate of fries. We couldn’t eat it all but what we did eat was amazing! We’ll be back. Wanna try breakfast!

These are wonderful people. The cafe is a quaint ‘diner’ style place with a standard menu. We went for dinner. I had a chicken salad and my son had a bacon cheeseburger. Both were delicious and well-portioned. My son says the burger was super flavorful! The owners run it (Vickie is super friendly).
We went back for breakfast. Again- standard hearty breakfast. Same great flavors, same great people.
The other thing these folks do is they run as community feeding of the community every Thanksgiving. The town donates food, but the owners donate most of it themselves and open the restaurant to feed anyone who wants Thanksgiving. I think that’s amazing.

Friendly town with friendly people. This is a darling diner on the main street. Great food and very flavorful! I think the waitress owned the diner. She was so friendly and helpful. Not fancy but good hometown cookin’! Would definitely recommend and we would go back when in the area. Loved this town!

The food was okay, but I don’t think I’d ever go again. The food genuinely looked very good, but it was just a step above a ready made frozen dinner.
The building itself is old, musty and dingy with some clutter in the back, it wasn’t very clean overall. However, my table and dinnerware were all clean!
The employees were very nice and I was given what I had asked for in a timely manner.

I understand they have problems keeping servers. There was one server for front and back dining areas.
It would be a great place in Buhl. If they had enough waitresses. One they had was so stressed serving, she kept forgetting stuff.
One of use had breakfast with two eggs, only got one egg.
One of our party of 6, had pancake batter on her sandwich. Soup was good..not salty. I get samples bc sometimes soups are so salty. However, when we got our cup of soup, so much grease on top of bowl, it was kinda gross. On the sample of soup it didn’t have the coating of grease.
There was a few other issues… Mainly, they need another waitress

Very quaint, small diner style soda fountain, popcorn, burgers fries shakes etc. Burger was really good. Fries were crispy, and if you want you can either peruse the antiques in the back our sit and watch television while you wait for your meal. I’ll go there again. Small town feel.YES.

We ordered the Prime rib steak and shrimp special to go. We asked for both, to be cooked medium rare. When we got home, both steaks were well done and burned!. The shrimp was over cooked and we were given barbecue sauce, not cocktail sauce, like we were told was in the bag. The baked potato tasted like it had slightly been frozen and the packets of butter were all melted.We were given a smidgen…not even a spoonful…each of sour cream. This place was the worst for the price we paid, and it was even recommended by a local! Very sad!!
