Perhaps this place is ONLY good for a Banh Mi because the spicy beef noodle soup and the shrimp and pork spring rolls were flavorless and used cheap ingredients. I asked for no pork on the rolls, it came with a franken-loaf slice of mystery meat in each anyways. Same mysterious meat was included in the watered down spicy beef noodle soup (that’s not supposed to include pork) and came with only 3 dried out slivers of fatty looking beef (for $18, I’m not sure what heck I’m actually paying for). The spring rolls were plain, no seasoning, just cold noodles w/a single romaine, piece mystery loaf and a shrimp. The peanut sauce was fine.

We found this shop through a friend’s recommendation—they said it had the best banh mi. Our family decided to give it a try, and we were not disappointed! The staff was super friendly and attentive. The food was amazing—the meat was well-marinated and packed with flavor. The broken rice portion was big and delicious, and the beef banh mi was also fantastic. Definitely worth a visit!

FINALLY tried this spot, and I’m so glad we did! Being from Vancouver BC where there are amazing Banh Mi, I was pretty disappointed in the standard I found in Seattle. I had reviewed one up on Queen Anne Ave which put salsa in their Banh Mi (HUGE no no), as well as a few around the city which mostly used grilled meat, none of the sandwhiches used pâté. Curbside Grill’s Banh Mi reminded me of home, the baguette was crispy, the picked veggies were not too sweet, and the pork was delicious. The viet coffee is also very good. Will be back!

Curbside is BACK!!
This was a staple while I was a student, and I’m so glad they now have a brick & mortar store instead of the food truck!
Steak Bahn Mi was amazing, super fresh and balanced!
I will be coming back, and there’s new items on the menu to try!
Only ask is that they post a menu or at least a QR code to browse ahead of ordering.

I am so happy that this corner restaurant exists. I grew up eating banh mi and haven’t been able to find a tasty/reasonably priced option in North Seattle until I found this place. I’m so happy that I don’t have to drive all the way to Chinatown/ID anymore.
The pork banh mi is full of flavor and I love that they lather on the pate. It tastes very authentic. The French bread is fresh, crispy yet fluffy. The pickled vegetables are perfectly sweet and sour. $8.50 for 1 banh mi is on the pricy side, but it’s worth not having to drive all the way south. Can’t wait to try their other items!

I ordered a tofu bahn mi today and I’m so glad I did! This place is fast and convenient, and the sandwich was so tasty. I love anywhere that adds lemongrass to the tofu bahn mi, it just adds such a nice pop of flavor. The bread was so perfect, crusty yet fluffy and it was not skimpy on the tofu. Highly recommend!
