Ten Seconds Noodle House is an easy spot to miss located in a small strip of shops right on Research Boulevard. It’s probably a spot you’ve driven by a hundred times and somehow never seen, but we’re very glad we stopped by because the food was great. Since it’s in a strip of shops and close to a Plucker’s, it can be hard to find decent parking, especially on a Friday night so be prepared. Once you step in, the restaurant looks nice and clean, much more modern than a lot of other noodle houses you’ll see in Austin. We were able to be seated for 6 immediately and the place did fill up quickly so we may have gotten a bit lucky.
The food was also very good. We ordered the pork xiao long bao, tonkatsu ramen, and copper pot rice noodle soup with szechuan mala base and stewed beef. The soup dumplings were okay, the dough was a bit too doughy and the filling was alright. The more standout dishes were the ramen and copper pot. The ramen was delicious with a nice deep broth and good chashu. Likewise, the copper pot had a rich flavor, especially the mala base. In both dishes the noodles were also cooked to perfection. We really loved the copper pot and would come back for that alone! The rest of our group also liked their food a lot which is always a plus to see.
We very much enjoyed our dinner at Ten Seconds Noodle House. It’s an excellent noodle option in North Austin combining good quality and value. It’s the perfect spot for a casual date night or group dinner and we think you’ll love it so come give it a try!

I would consider this place “hot pot light”. It is not traditional hot pot, but more of an individual portion inspired by hot pot. That being said the mala soup broth was out of this world. Classic Chinese spices and Sichuan pepper flavor. Perfect blend of oil and spice. Will definitely be back!

I really didn’t know what to expect going here. However, I was pleasantly surprised with all the recommendations of trying the green pepper broth. It was very flavorful and definitely hot for people that really enjoy very hot broth. This is definitely the place to go. I wish there was a little bit more beef but I guess you can order a la carte. All of the sides were very tasty and the broth stayed hot for a long time. I will be coming back to try other different broths.

Exceptional experience here. Food was served incredibly quick on a late Saturday afternoon. The dry noodle bowl was quite filling although I wish I went no spice.
The server was great and the vibe and interior in here was all on point. Well worth the $$ here!

I got there out of curiosity and it was a great experience. The place is pristine clean, beverages are good, food excellent, and the ladies serving the food will take care of you with a smile. You can tell this is a great asian restaurant when you realize most of the clients are Asian! However, it’s very welcoming to all.
If you are in the north Austin area, it’s really worth going.

I like the dry noodle which is very good and a little bit spicy. If you don’t like it too spicy, you can tone down a little bit. The waitress is very kind and patient to explain the food options. She even suggested some vegetable dishes for us to enjoy.

Affordable and delicious. I love the hot pot concept (it’s actually called Crossing the Bridge noodles – there’s a heartwarming story on the wall of the restaurant on where the name comes from). I got the Kim chi broth which was really balanced – not too sour or spicy. Hubby got dry noodles which were good but it got too monotonous. I liked the Crossing Bridge noodles better because of the variety of things you can put in. I love that there was chili oil already on the table. I think the appetizers are slightly expensive – we got smashed cucumber for $8. I also love the rewards program. You can redeem for free food!
Overall, I can’t wait to go back and bring friends and family!

First time here and I would give an overall of 4.5/5.
It’s flavored but not too salty or strong.
The sticky rice dessert was delicious as well and the fried tofu. We did not get the popcorn chicken but it looked good as most tables ordered that.
People work there were very friendly and gentle.

We saw this spot while going to pluckers and decided to try it the next day. Was very glad we gave this new spot for us a shot, everything we tried was great. There was nothing overcooked/undercooked, it was all cooked perfectly. Most noodle places i go to if we order the “popcorn chicken” for our kids it’s always overcooked and dry. The chicken here was perfect, juicy and tasty. I enjoyed the seasoning levels, nothing bland. We had soup dumplings, sui mai, tonkatsu ramen, popcorn chicken, rice cake, takoyaki, and another copper pot noodle dish. The service was prompt and professional. One caveat, the place is smaller in size, so if you have a large group plan ahead or you’ll be eating at separate tables. We will be eating here again because the food is good, the service is good and there is a lot more on the menu we want to try and believe it’ll be just as good.

The menu was unique and the food was delicious, unlike anything we could expect in an Asian restaurant housed in an unassuming strip center. We had the marinated mushrooms (so good!) and the equally delicious fried tofu as appetizers, then shared a bowl of the hot and sour soup with fish instead of beef. It was all very good and readily customized for our preferences by the kindly woman who served us. We live in San Marcos, so don’t get to North Austin regularly, but this place will be on the top of the list for a repeat visit.
