Happened upon this place while exploring the area (after finding via a Google Maps restaurant search, actually). Was very glad to see a bento-type place in the area we are considering moving to. It was mostly empty inside mid- to late-afternoon, with only a few tables (definitely more of a take-out place, for sure). But I was greeted and seated, and the people there were very friendly. It was small, and nothing special as far as atmosphere, but it was clean, which is what really counts as a starting point.
I ordered a teriyaki bento box, which included miso soup (tasty, but SO salty… and I like salty, generally, but this was a bit much). But it was nice and hot, which I appreciated.
Here are my issues with the bento box fare:
Everything was fresh, and the chicken and fried items were quite hot (temperature, which I very much like). The spring roll was mostly clear veggies (ok), but very, very oily (not too good). The gyoza were basic, but fine. The white rice was… white… and it was rice. It was barely warm, which means what often happens in to-go restaurants is, the rice is plated (in this case, plasticized, as they serve in-house in the same to-go plastic boxes, but nice touch, you do get real silverware (plus chopsticks, of course).
So many places do what I suspect was done here – rice is plated, as the fresh, hot food is being prepared, such that, when the fresh, hot food is then added, the rice has likely been sitting there, no longer hot, waiting for its friends, which results in very bland, barely warm rice (not so appetizing). I was in a bit of a time crunch, so I didn’t request fresher, hotter rice.
The white meat chicken was quite tender and moist, but… I ordered teriyaki chicken, and asked, because it didn’t taste anything like teriyaki sauce. It tasted more like a hibachi sauce (which they also serve). When I asked, the very friendly and polite server said yes, hibachi sauce, then said it was their “homemade” teriyaki sauce (flavorful, but not what most would expect at all from “teriyaki” sauce – no thick, sweet, wonderful teriyaki flavor… again, more like a thin hibachi sauce… and just enough to barely cover the chicken, and none for the barely lukewarm rice (again, I could’ve asked, but didn’t have a lot of time).
The CA roll… was average, but fresh. I’d probably eat here again, but would make sure to ask that all hot food be plated at the same time. But it was flavorful, and it was a decent amount of food for $15.

It was my first time dining at the restaurant, I was greeted entering, good atmosphere, excellent variety on their menu, good price, quality of ingredients, very attentive. I ordered appetizer, hibachi, love the soup, sauce. I recommend

Super small place tucked away in a easily passed strip mall into wekiva springs. I was greeted and seated quickly and served water. The menu is simple and straightforward. Nothing fancy. Nothing flashy. I ordered a avocado roll. 2 eel nigiri and a SpicyGirl roll. Food came out quickly. The avocado roll was nicely made and the avocado was ripe and creamy. The SpicyGirl was very good. Not that spicy at all despite having a drop of siracha and a thin slice of jalapeno ontop, the hamachi ontop was flavorful and tasted fresh and the spicy salmon inside was tasty as well. Honestly the real star of the meal for me was the eel nigiri. BIG pieces of eel. Served warm. Generous eel sauce ontop. Soft and fresh melt in your mouth. Very good. If you want nice simple sushi please check this place out. It doesn’t seat many people but I can tell the owners are nice sweet people who could use the business.

My wife and I stopped in after we saw that they had just opened. We had several rolls, including a specialty roll, with some soup and some fried rice. I was pleasantly surprised, the food is good and the sushi is made fresh to order. There was one minor mishap with the menu, and we learned that the pictures in the menu do not correspond with any actual dishes, but they did just open and it is a nice little spot to grab some sushi for dinner. We will definitely be back, we were very happy to have been there to eat.

This is another great mom and Oto-san restraint that just opened. It seems for the locals. We are in a Japanese restaurant desert and this is a welcome new addition. Although the book cover of this restaurant may not be impressive, the food and the quality of the individuals who run it is high. I would strongly recommend giving this place a chance.

First time and won’t be the last. Best Asian cuisine since we moved to Florida from Utah! Even my travels through our country hasn’t had this good of Asian cuisine. It’s a must try. Very cozy, space is limited so recommend take out if you can. We ordered the combination plates (dinner). Great flavor, good portions and about as much for that fast food combo but with out the slab of high cholesterol. The service was outstanding. She was patient with my wife and made super substitution recommendations for her. Come support a great local find! I think triple D needs to come out.

Unfortunately. The food has gone downhill. I used to love their house fried rice. Now you get pieces of beef, shrimp, and steak. Meaning they chop it all. Not a full shrimp but seems like they cut it up. The rice is dry. Makes me choke. Love the people there but food is horrible. The wings used to be a full wing. Now they cut it up.. too bad. Was my go to place..

Beautiful gem in the area of Longwood and Wekiva! Very fresh ingredients used for all items, you can really taste the quality. Great business owners as well so I highly recommend this new place for people to try! Recommend the journey out from Altamonte and other surrounding areas too, great local find. They also have a nice lunch price deal.
