Doc
I ordered through Uber Eats and have to say, if you’re looking for cheap chinese level food then you’ve found the Japanese version of it. The flavors on the chicken and shrimp were so dull my wife didn’t even know there was shrimp in the dish until I told her the next day. The veggies are mushy, veggie egg roll is bland and mushy and you could tell me it had meat in it and I’d believe you. Crab Rangoon was good but obviously reheated frozen. The upside is it’s affordable.

This food is way too good. Literally a better Panda with Hibachi.

This teriyaki joint is becoming one of my go to spots! Food is consistently good, fast service, reasonable price and well portioned. I get the chicken teriyaki with shrimp. I’ve gotten their tofu teriyaki and that is also bangin. It’s simple, they don’t have a big menu and don’t need one. Go for the teriyaki. If you have kids they have a very well priced kids teriyaki as well.

food and service is good. they give you a lot and it’s not expensive. it’s enough for 3 servings. plus the cashier was super nice and asked me if i wanted extra sauce and if i needed anything else. to me, that’s the real definition of customer service

My husband came in right after 8:30 and they told they don’t take orders at this time. Why say you’re open til 9 if you stop taking orders at 8:30! We shop here often and never been turned away like this! Won’t be coming back!

Value, value, value.

There’s nothing that gets this foodie’s heart ticking like tasty food at a great price point. Yes, this is fast casual dining, but it’s done well with a healthy serving size that won’t leave you hungry at the end. My husband and I each ordered our own teriyaki bento boxes, which come with a few pieces of California roll, rice, and a choice of two sides. I was surprised at how well my salmon teriyaki turned out. It was quite tender (save a few thinner parts long the sides, which were expectedly drier) and I was most surprised by the fact that there were two small fillets atop my rice. Talk about value! I wish I could tell you about my husband’s chicken teriyaki but after his first bites, he quietly angled his plate away from me and shoveled it into his mouth until there was nothing left.

I suppose that’s saying something.

There were a few minor dings here and there. The rolls, for instance, aren’t true California rolls since there’s nothing inside except imitation crab meat. My husband deigned to order a side salad, which turned out to be a clamshell Styrofoam container filled with chopped iceberg lettuce and a few julienned carrots throughout. No other veggies, no dressing, just lettuce. But now that we’ve learned our lesson, I hope that keeps you from making the same mistake and ordering from the more exciting parts of their menu. Anything with the teriyaki sauce would probably be a good bet. It’s isn’t too sweet and has a fair resemblance to the Sarku teriyaki one might find at a mall food court (the pinnacle of teriyaki in my book).

Service is brisk at the counter, and the food was ready mere minutes after we’d chosen our table and visited the (clean) restroom. There’s no street parking available, but there’s a decently sized garage/lot a few doors down.

Overall, an amazing experience. The customer service was phenomenal and the food was absolutely delectable. I highly recommend you eat here. Everything was tasty of course but my favorite had to be the teriyaki beef. No complaints whatsoever!

Warning: When ordering Bento Box sides they are less than what are shown on the Side Menu amounts. My girlfriend chose the Dumplings and instead of (6) shown on the menu they gave only 2. I chose Crab Rangoons and instead of (3) shown on the menu they gave 2, I also chose Tempura Shrimp and instead of (3) shown on the menu they gave 1. I went to the cashier and a gentleman appeared and said that’s how it is; if that’s how it is why is that NOT stated from the cashier when ordering our 2 bento boxes, why is it NOT written on the menu, for example to the dumplings having a (6) (2) and “Normal Side” “Bento Side” text.

We ordered the Teriyaki Salmon Bento and Teriyaki Steak Bento. The food tasted great but the lack of correct menu quantities and lack of communicating it to the customer verbally makes one feel this restaurant is overpriced compared to other restaurants of similar food options.
