For the past several years, I used to drive from Minneapolis to the big fireworks store across the street from Uncle Donuts, then stop here for some treats to eat on the return home. Now I drive from Minneapolis to go to Uncle Donuts, and maybe stop at Fireworks Forever across the street. Stopped by today and bought an apple fritter from Cheryl – best ones in Wisconsin. Just like the ones my mother was never able to make.

Top 3 donuts I’ve had in my life and I can’t remember the other two, but I didn’t want to jump to any conclusions. Picked up a twist and it was fantastic. No taste of being fried. The right softness and not doughy. I love finding treasures like this when I drive. I wish them the best! Won’t drive by without stopping whenever we cross paths!

Outside of large cities, It is hard to find donuts or bakeries of this level. They make things from scratch, you can see the quality in the final product. Worth the stop if you are driving through, i recommend it.

One of the best donuts I’ve ever had. Great mom and pop shop. Donuts are so good the kids actually ate the whole thing and not just the frosting. Highly recommend. Family of 4 each got donuts and adults coffee under $15 as well!

For a homeschool experiment we just did a comparison of donuts within a 1 mile radius of St Croix Falls. Uncle Donuts won by a LONG shot. Better icing, better batter, better cooking, better texture. There was really no competition in hind sight.

We ordered almost 100 donuts of different varieties and 10 dozen donut holes for our wedding and they were incredible. Only a handful leftover. I cannot recommend Uncles Donuts enough. Grab one before your next hike at interstate.

Uncle Donuts has the best, tastiest, fluffiest donuts around. My favorite is always the fried danish. The coffee selection is great as well with a full menu. They have a drive thru and a few small tables inside. Highly recommend stopping here!
