Was not good at all. Ordered Hibachi and it was the worst. The chicken wasn’t done or was chicken backs or something it wasnt edible tender chicken. But the steak was tender and good and the spring rolls were good. Shrimp sauce good. Rice was mushy….just wasn’t Hibachi that you’d be used to. The portion was very small for what the pricing was and the to go plates just don’t hold up very flemsey and soak easily from the food. The food didn’t look like the picture portrayed. My family just picked over most of it said it seemed thrown together.

I was really excited to try Jade Express, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t meet expectations. I’ve ordered bourbon chicken with veg fried rice and orange chicken with crispy potatoes.Rice and potatoes were bland and overly greasy. Both chicken dishes had same syrupy flavors and none of the flavors seemed to work well. The portions were decent, but that didn’t make up for the underwhelming taste.

First time at Carolina mall! Got hungry and tried out Jade Express. When I say this was the best Chinese food I have tried in a long time. Great portions with the food for the price. I was stuffed to the point I had to share my meal with my mom.

I recently tried the Bourbon Chicken and General Tso’s Chicken. The Bourbon Chicken was good, but it could have used more sauce to really bring out the flavor. However, the General Tso’s Chicken was absolutely amazing. I honestly should’ve just ordered that on its own—it was the standout of the meal.
The rice was also very tasty. My 12-month-old enjoyed it so much that he devoured it quickly! I’ll definitely be ordering again. I want to try the black pepper chicken next!

This was takeout, based on the reviews. I don’t know who posted these reviews, but I think it’s probably the kids that work there because this is in a FOOD COURT INSIDE A MALL. Not even a real Chinese restaurant! (obviously I didn’t see that on Google).
I didn’t have my hopes too high thinking it would be similar to New York, but this is just an insult. Good thing I had extra packets of sauce at home from my son because they even charge you extra for the packets of sauce. SMH
And if you order anything other than chicken, they call it hibachi so they can charge you more. Really? A hibachi grill…at a mall…
Lesson learned. Now you know. 🙁

This is mall food court food people! Not fine dining with tablecloths and waitresses.
Ordered bourbon chicken, jalapeños chicken and noodles. Very good tasty food court quality food.
Go back absolutely.

Ordering options and price/value were great, but everything was bland and tasted the same or had no taste at all. We got two kinds of rice, noodles, and 5 kinds of chicken to try out the differences. The orange chicken was the best/distinguishable, and the garlic was worst/too breaded. Others tasted the same and not great (teriyaki, ginger). Hibachi ricewas $2 more and definitely not worth the upcharge (was hoping it’d be Japanese restaurant-like). I ended up not eating 80%. Very disappointing. 🙁
