Went at mid-afternoon time, wasn’t busy (maybe 3-4 tables) but service was a little slow. Food was amazing though. Best sushi in town for flavor and size of rolls/portions. Could have been rolled tighter as they tended to fall apart (maybe the rice wasn’t sticky enough?). Also tried the hot & sour soup, it was good. Will definitely be going back again soon!

Very good. The Tao’s Beef was an interesting mix of sweet, sour, and spicy. Orange chicken had a mild kick that set it apart from what you get at most places. Our other dishes were good as well, portion sizes were generous, and the service was friendly. My only negative is that 4 of our 5 dishes seemed to be a bit salty.

I’ve been here twice and love the food! The kimichi fried rice is great! And last time I also had a Dragon Roll. It came out and it looked like a dragon! Friendly wait staff good food, good prices, what else can you ask for?

This place is going to be my go-to for sushi in Grand Forks from now on. The service was amazingly friendly and attentive, always quick to refill water or address whatever needs we had. We ordered four sushi rolls. We went late in the evening, and there were several other tables ordering sushi, so it did take maybe 15 minutes before our first two rolls were ready, with another five minutes until our other two were complete. Which was amazing considering there was one sushi chef working like a machine to complete orders. The rolls, by the way, were enormous. Most places in town give you little rolls made up of maybe 5 or 6 pieces; this place gives you a foot long roll with 8 or 9 pieces. We were stuffed!
The prices for sushi were pretty similar to other places in the area, maybe slightly less expensive than Little Bangkok or Sakura’s, but they had combo deals that made everything much more affordable; we paid under 20 dollars per person, which for the quantity and quality of the food was more than worth it. Every member of the staff thanked us on our way out, and really made us feel appreciated as customers. I can’t wait to go back again!

I’ve had better experience. It was our anniversary date night out. My husband got his entree before our appetizers, My food didn’t arrive until my husband finished his food, and he was sharing his food with me. We were leaving, when they finally brought my food around, by then, I had to get them to doggy bag it… still got charged full priced, could’ve given us a discount at least, since I wasn’t able to eat my food, like I had planned to.

Delivery was fast. Guy was very friendly. Good portion sizes. The won ton soup was a little underseasoned for me but was still good. Spring rolls were good as well. Asparagus chicken was great.
Tao’s beef was amazing. If I ever go on a soul searching quest up candy mountain I am 125% positive there will be a plate of Tao’s beef on the top. Yellow brick road lined with money trees all the way up. Rainbow Guido penguins arguing over spray tan brands and marinara recipes. Rosa Parks giving life advice on the way up and then.. there it is. THE CLOUDS PART! The hand of God reaches down and gives me some splinter free chopsticks. I begin to float away into culinary heaven as I enjoy Tao’s beef.

I placed an order 6:54 and didn’t receive until closing if I could no stars I would. This place should be on kitchen nightmares if it was still playing. By the heaven one was laughing cause they forgot our order. The food some good some bad the only thing that was good was a egg roll but that pretty hard to mess up. The food was unseasoned and just could be cooked better at home than their’s which cost 11.95

Food was really good. It’s a bit of a wait to get it. And our waitress did not want to be there. We could see other tables getting much better service with a different waiter while we seemed like an after thought. They should also hire a proof reader for the menu.

Ordered online for delivery. Arrived 40 minutes later than the confirmed delivery time. So the won tons and heart attack roll (deep fried) were pretty much a waste of $20. The chicken and rice were ok. They didn’t give me extra sweet and sour that I requested. Even the fortune cookies are stale. I don’t like to complain publicly but this was extra disappointing.

First of all, i’ve been there twice with my boyfriend and we could clearly tell that this place is short staffed. Both times we were there, it was the same lady serving us (and the other tables). There is some waiting at times, however, the sweet waitress is always on her toes and tries to make sure that we are not forgotten despite that she was the only waitress there.
They are very generous with their portions, so it justifies for the amount it costs. Food tastes really good, we ordered lamb in spicy hot pot and tao’s beef. The hot pot was kinda greasy the first time, so i requested to go easy on the chili oil this time, it tastes really good if you add sriracha sauce (and vinegar if u ordered shao long bao). Just like hot and sour soup! Tao’s beef was heavenlyyyy…. It was sweet, sour, spicy and very crispy… Highly recommend to try it out~
