No issues but we were from out of town. So obvi only gonna come here once. Anyway no one is at the front desk, we used the kiosk, that’s fine. Food was good and yeah WAY cheap compared to Chicagoland prices. SO no complaints. Clean place.
I’d stop by again, if I am in the area. Probably not though. 🙂

I paid 40$ for breakfast for two. My meal was not given to me.
to correct the mistake the team members said I can drive 1/2 hour back to there galena location so I can pickup the steak and egg bagel. Or drive back and they would THEN be able to reimburse my credit card. I am traveling 8 hours to Ohio. team members were unable to grasp my situation.
Oh but they can mail a small coupon..

We were here about 6 months ago and all got meals, eating them in the car. 3 of us all stopped after one bite. I THINK what happened is that they sprayed down something with cleaner and it sprayed the food. I packed up al the food and went in. They refunded the order no problem but acted like I was crazy. Look, I love McDonalds and know a good one when I visit. This isnt one of those.

Standard McDonald’s food. However. tables are greasy. Doesn’t seem like they cleaned often since there weren’t many people dine in. There was fountain drink machine when we visited. I know some McDonald’s started to get rid of it.

Drive thru takes minimum 5-7 minutes, prices are $2-$3+ higher per meal than other McDonald’s in the area. I won’t go there anymore. I’ll wait for the next town or go across the road to Casey’s.

The first time we went to this restaurant we had to wait almost 20 minutes in the drive through, for every other car to get their food, while we sat and waited. Forgot my daughter’s apple juice and gave me sauce for the nuggets they forgot? How hard is it to mess up two $5 meals and a happy meal? You can’t ask these teenagers simple questions about what they have available without getting some kind of attitude. Galena is such a nice place and then you have this McDonald’s. Save your time and money and go to Casey’s across the street.

We stopped here just for fries and a Diet Coke my Diet Coke was half empty and they said to pull around to wait for the fries. We sat there for 15 minutes finally went inside and they weren’t understanding what we needed and never gave us our fries. So that was a waste of money.

I don’t eat at McDonald’s because I’m a vegetarian and the choices are limited, but my husband likes the hamburger and fries and this location has always done a great job with food prep. Service is always been super friendly. More often than not during the time we have been there, the food isn’t ready in time and we have to wait in a waiting for the order to be brought out. You can also order on the app and there’s a place for parking to pick up your online order.
