Walk in and you are instantly greeted with the smell of fresh pizza. Came in after a long day of skiing and we’re seated by friendly staff who promptly took our order and accommodated our requests. Took a little while for our pizza to come out but it was well worth the wait. “The Vermonter” may sound a little strange but it tastes AMAZING. Also had a special of pulled pork on garlic knots that was delicious. Overall a good experience.

I came in with my boyfriend 30 mins before they closed and our waitress was friendly and served us well. My spaghetti dish was awesome, the entire plate was homemade (from the sauce to the meatball). Would 100% recommend to locals and visitors!

Wandered into this place on our first visit to Johnson, VT. The people inside were immediately welcome and it just seemed like the place where everyone knew everyone else.
We had the Arugula salad and the Downtown pizza. Both were fresh and delicious. The salad had bites of apple, cheese, and red onion that really balanced out the balsamic vinaigrette. The pizza also had a balsamic reduction with sausage, mushrooms, and olives. The crust was both crispy and flaky and held the toppings very well.
The staff even helped us find local sites, businesses, and things to do. We will definitely return on future trips to this lovely area!!

– I have been a handful of times and each more dissatisfying than the last. No way the bartender remembers me, or the people I have been with. He’s just an outright disrespectul host. Common trend among all these less than 5* reviews if you read through. My opinion is that he is a jerk to anyone who isn’t local, probably just in general a jerk though. The way they respond to some of these online reviews is just deplorable customer service and poor presentation. I advise ownership handles the man behind the bar with glasses. And if he is an owner, shame on you for just a general lack of respect for customers. There is no one specific example, just an overall jerk.
Food: 3/5…4/5 in terms of local options
I have worked restaurants in many capacities, I have managed businesses, operated establishments, run customer service departments, successfully lead teams of over 30 happy people, I could go on…my credentials exist.

The pizza is not worst I have had, but it certainly isn’t the best. Not even close to the best in the area or even in Johnson. It is, however, the priciest in town, despite being very mediocre in taste and lacking in toppings actually put on the pizza compared to others in the area.

Food is great, gluten-free options are plentiful, prices are reasonable. Wait times were long for both food and service, though our server was very professional and friendly; the place was just too busy. Recommended for those looking for a carb fix, with children, or with food allergies.

*Edited* I changed this establishment to ONE star after a second similar experience with the bartender. He is downright rude and the food is not good enough for me to ignore it.
3/5 Bartender was not welcoming, at least not to us. The food was good and I could see myself ordering to-go from here but I most likely won’t eat in again.

I stopped in with my daughter for a meal recently. I was so very impressed by the presentation, flavors and homemade goodness of the food. I couldn’t believe I was getting such incredible food in Johnson! Can’t wait to return!

So in the few experiences i have had at this restraunt they have not been positive. My girlfriend just finished placing an order on the phone with them at 9pm on a sunday(most likely not too busy in Johnson, vt) and the man on the phone proceeds to be extremely short with her on the phone. And the shortness in responses is what ive recieved in my past experiences as well. The food was quite mediocre and i would 11/10 recommend pizza on main in Morrisville, Vt.

Great customer experience. We were welcomed warmly as visitors from Michigan. The staff was awesome and our takeout pizza was excellent. Make sure to swing by if in the neighborhood!!
