This was my first time at this restaurant. The food was good. I had cabbage, mac & cheese and 4 chicken wings. The reason for the rating was because the portion sizes were small. And I wanted a piece of cake but the cake slices were not worth the price. They were very thin. Other than those things the Mac & Cheese were better than expected. It looked like another plan old mac and cheese but it was tasty with flavor. But all in all the food was good and the ladies were friendly but wow were they gossiping. It was funny but never the less they were not rude.

As someone who is a pescatarian and has a hard time finding something quick to eat, this place is perfect! The parking is a little tight and it’s located in a more urban part of Raleigh, but the food is good. It’s also reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. The highlight of my meal were those hush puppies!

More of a soul food spot. The staff is very friendly. Prices are moderate. The wait on weekends is significant. Consider calling in an order in advance.

OMG this location is amazing and the inside is very spacious with plenty of room. The food is very southern and flavorful, I must admit I was very impressed with the food and the staff. Props to our waitress “Chasidy” very fun and professional, makes everything from start to finish a great time. This was my first time visiting the Falls Of Neuse location & I will definitely be back.

This is absolutely the best seafood I have ever had in my entire life. Please please please do yourself a favor and slip in one afternoon and grab a bite.

The shrimp is my favorite. I don’t care if it’s fried, boiled, or sautéed in butter. It is fantastic. I like to dump mine in tartar sauce.

Let’s talk about oysters. Jack’s is wonderful. Take a soft fried oyster and sprinkle a little Tabasco or Texas Pete on them and Dan Duncan and cocktail sauce and eat them all up. Fantastic.

Steamed oysters are really good too but I like to dunk mine in butter. And then it’s Tabasco and cocktail sauce next. Always a family favorite in our house.

The biggest conflict is the choice between baked potato and french fries. Believe it or not our favorite dunk for french fries is mayonnaise. And there’s only one type of mayonnaise in our house and that’s Duke’s mayonnaise. French fries dipped in Duke mayonnaise is on by God believable.

Baked potatoes are great slathered in butter and sour cream. Especially if you can get some fresh chives sprinkled on top. Jack’s baked potatoes are so good we even eat the skin off of them.

In summary, you just can’t go wrong with Jack’s seafood. Anything on the menu is worth the trip. Our favorite is the seafood. That includes the flounder. But you can get really good fried chicken and sandwiches at Jack’s seafood as well.

Stop in and give him a try and tell him Bubba sent you. You will not be sorry. You will also never be disappointed with Jack’s seafood.

Big Back Alert!!! Those turkey wings were seasoned perfectly and tender.. man!! Mac and cheese on point, yams are OK, but the weight of the plate was exceptional! Shout out to Jack’s Seafood and SOUL Restaurant! I finally got the turkey wing dinner and it did not disappoint. I couldn’t eat it all. Highly recommend

1st time here… Ordered Turkey Wings, Sweet Potatoes & Collards. Opened the box, first thing I smelled was the cinnamon from the Sweet Potatoes. Omg! And they taste amazing, btw! Then, I tasted the Collards w/ TURKEY?!?!?! A tiny bit of heat, aromatic garlic & lightly salted (perfectly) & lastly the Turkey Wings…..TENDER, Yum, seasoned, Yum, Gravy, Yummy, too! Only $14 & change (nice price for the portion). They earned those 5 stars w/ menu choices, spices, atmosphere, seasoning (yum) & customer service. The employees are happy together, energetic (i came in at 8pm) and upon meeting the owner (wearing an apron & made MY food), I’m convinced I’ve found a dining experience worth revisiting for more! Thank you for the great Customer Service!

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover! The fish was great, not overly breaded and well seasoned. The greens were on point! I had the flounder and hubs had catfish. Yams were good, too. Definitely a place to try if you’re in the area!

Absolutely unacceptable and beyond disappointing. Serving undercooked turkey wings with pink meat is a serious health risk. I’m grateful I checked and pulled them apart before eating, but this level of negligence in cooking is unacceptable. Do better.
