Absolutely not for me. I’d rate it 2/10 at best. Another $20 wasted. The food was bland, the service was nonexistent, and the atmosphere was mediocre. The prices were outrageous—$20 for what? I can go to East Cuisine, get great service, flavorful food, and be full for $10. This place might be okay for alcoholic drinks, but that’s it. The tea was over-brewed and burnt. Have the owners even tasted this food? It’s horrendous. What happened to putting effort into making food taste good? I wouldn’t be surprised if this place closes soon. The crepe was dry, chicken way overcooked, there was no cream or sauce?! What are yall doing? Good luck.

I was there off season, mid-week, so it was very quiet. Located in a repurposed commercial laundry from the last century, it is a funky, but welcoming location. Food selection is a bit different (“no fried food, no seafood, our specialty is crepes” per the personable outgoing owner). On the owner’s advice, I ordered the Parisian crepe (chicken, apple, onion, brie, Dijon cream sauce). Memories of Normandy! It was delicious! Can’t wait to return on a Saturday evening, when they also have acoustic music.

What a great find for us! Heading to Morehead from a few hours out we wanted to break up the drive for a bit and grab a bite, with our doggo in tow, so we found this spot on Google Maps and it was a great fit! Shawn, the owner, personally welcomed (all three) of us. Our lineup included a rose on tap, a canned porter, and three (very reasonably priced) bites from the all-day menu. We could not be more pleased with our quick visit and look forward to visiting again soon when we are back for a longer session.

From the outside, it looks like any other unassuming cafe. Inside is a spacious place with several nooks of sofaa, perfect for teleworking. I’m always on the lookout for one around here. Tasty smoked salmon pasta and their version of shepherds pie. Will try the crepes next time.

If you want to satisfy your crepe fix look no further! The whole vibe of this place is quant and charming. The staff is very attentive. We had the love potion crepe and the Mediterranean with tofu. Very nice to have vegetarian friendly savory options. We look forward to visiting again.

Went to Fire Fly Cafe for Sunday lunch, I had the Curry chicken and my husband had the Mediterranean crepe with a side of potatoes. Both crepes were delicious. Unfortunately for us they were out of Brussel sprouts. Service was good. We will return.

A Magical Experience: The Perfect Place to Celebrate Love
I was looking for the ideal spot to celebrate our anniversary, a place with special meaning that connected with the essence of our marriage, which we call our “firefly love.” From the moment we walked through the door, we knew we had found the right place. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy; it feels like a warm embrace inviting you to stay.
The owner of the establishment is an outstanding host. He made us feel at home from the very first second, listening to our story and providing excellent service—something we noticed he did with everyone who arrived. In this place, you feel welcomed, respected, and above all, accepted.
The venue hits every mark for a spectacular date: impeccable decor, the perfect balance of privacy, and a vibrant atmosphere. But let’s talk about the food: it is a true explosion of flavors! Every dish was delicious and prepared with impressive attention to detail. A special shout-out for the beignets; thank you so much for that thoughtful touch!
Without a doubt, this has become the favorite place to go with my wife. Thank you for making our anniversary exceed all expectations. If you are looking for a place where human kindness and culinary excellence come together, this is it. We will be back soon!

Three of us were looking for a nice place for Sunday brunch and Firefly Cafe was perfect. The unique atmosphere was welcoming. I appreciated the comfortable chairs which were padded and not just uncomfortable aluminum. The drink special, a lemon drop mimosa, was delicious! I had a savory crepe and the other two had an egg scramble. All three items were vey good. We finished off our meal with beignets which were light and fluffy and delicious. We will definitely be back!
