Viande Rouge is hands down one of the best intimate setting places to eat. It IS a 5 start restaurant. The food is superb. The staff is excellent. The management is attentive and they truly strive to be accomidating to your needs. I’ve been there numerous times with my wife and they never disappoint!

Excellent service and we like the French twist on this quaint American steakhouse with several table side prepared dishes. Learned the name means ‘red meat’; however, the seafood is equally as good. Love the red and black chic decor and the intimate setting is great for couples and groups. Tip 1: Not really kid friendly so I suggest getting a sitter. They even have custom chairs with their logo embossed on the back. First time dining for our anniversary in which I was allowed to select our table when I was greeted by the owner while looking at the menu outside and was impressed to make a reservation the day before. Tip 2: Very ltd seating so reservations are strongly recommended. Upon arrival we were greeted with champagne and a personalized card signed by each staff and a dessert..the crème brulé with fruit and creme was awesome! Now I know why they’ve earned Zagat awards year after year. Thanks for making our special day great!

We started coming here a year ago and everytime the food and service is fantastic. Escargot, duck confit, lamb, potatoes gratin and banana foster are must haves. Nice ambience, perfect for a romantic dinner as long as you don’t sit in the private dining area. Definitely recommend and we will be back for sure.

The atmosphere was awesome with a nice little bar and fresh style. Their web site for this restaurant is a mess. While still owned by the original owner of Viande Rouge, they did not remove all of the Viande Rouge info and replace with Cantina One 41. The reviews and photos are blended and it still gave the Viande Rouge Menu when last I looked as well as photos. We came in during Happy Hour hoping to just have a few drinks and appetizers. Given the 6 p.m. time, they were quite busy. If you want to go during the dinner hours, I highly recommend a reservation. It seems that most people there were friends of owners and regulars so I expect they have no need to drive in new traffic.
We had Guacamole and Queso Fundido, which were nice elevations of their respective dishes. The salsa and chips for the table were a bit different. The salsa was good but had a smoke flavor that I do not prefer. The tortilla chips were actually the size of small taco shells, thick and beyond crisp to almost hard. The house special Margarita was a bit on the sour side and was not consistent from first one to second one. The Texas Margarita was better. (No over sweet margaritas here ). The appetizer menu only had dishes with Shrimp, Octopus, Oysters, or Mussels so we skipped appetizers. The obvious emphasis here is Southern Californian Mexican, which means the have lightened and brightened typical flavors and stayed clear of anything spicy. There are vague hints of heat spice in the Chipotle Crema, but not what you expect from something advertised as Chipotle. The crema was served on my Baja Tacos. The fish was excellently prepared with an extra light crisp batter; however, the avocado was missing and the crema left me wanting for flavor. Since the crema was green, maybe it concealed my avocado. I do think it would have been better with some of their guacamole and a real cream style slaw as the crema did not bring the flavor or texture I expected. Made to order Enchilada with beef and red sauce was excellent.

One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The crab beignets melt in your mouth, the caesar salad is served side table. We also had escargot, it was ok, but not my favorite thing I had that night. We all got different steaks (filet, ribeye, etc.) and they were all amazing. My favorite side was the creamed spinach. Then we finished the meal with beignets and they were amazing.

Pretty good French restaurant in the Northern Atlanta area called John’s Creek. Very elegant, good food, a bit on the pricey side, but overall a very nice experience for the area.
I ordered the Halibut fish plate which was very nice indeed! My partner ordered the Grouper dish which was not as appetizing to me, because it had too much cream and was heavy. My fish was zero creams and very light and tasty.
Unfortunately, the waiter needs polishing in fine dining service! This seems to be a repeat offender lately. Below standard service… who trains these people??? I had to ask him to serve us the wine all throughout the meal. Many many more things like this which is annoying when you are being charged an arm and a leg.

Wow!!! Let me start by saying that I thought we walked into a sex dungeon when we arrived! This play is very Moulin Rouge-ish!! I’m only 28 but felt so grown and sexy and when I arrived here! They are very attentive, the bartender was hilarious (now Snapchat friends) and our meals were prepared table-side!!! Can I give 6 stars?! I would if I could! Food and ambiance is amazing!! I ordered the steak Diane and it was sooo good and tender!! If you’re going Valentine’s Day, be sure to make reservations!! You won’t be let down!

My husband and I dined here on a Friday night. The ambiance was perfect—quiet and romantic. Our server was pleasant.
The problem for us was the food. We have no problem paying for good, quality meals, but the food we ordered just didn’t live up to the price we paid. The bread roll was loaded with onions! The steak was so “interesting” that I ultimately tossed it. Now that says a lot considering we spent about $50 on it. We just didn’t feel the food was good, especially at their price so we don’t plan to eat there again. The best thing for us was the atmosphere.

Escargot – poor taste, some sort of
Rib Eye Steak – decent meat, but was served well done instead of med rare. Substituted, but the service damage was done.

This is one of my favorite places. The food is outstanding, and the ambience and service are great. Try the Steak Diane, the dauphinoise potatoes… We miss the veal schnitzel, which we hope they will put back on the menu. My favorite – fresh peaches caramelized table side with vanilla ice cream. For the quality of the food, the price is pretty good as well – certainly well under certain steak-house chains, whose product is not nearly as good.
