I can’t say enough wonderful things about this wine bar! The owners are some of the most giving, personable people I’ve ever met. They make you feel welcomed the moment you walk in, like you’re part of their family. They even surprised me with a birthday cake completely unexpectedly, which absolutely made my night. The atmosphere, the wine, and the people are all amazing. If you’re looking for a place with heart, this is it! Highly recommend.

Vino del Mare (formerly Frederick’s Wine Room) is a hidden gem by the sea. It just opened three weeks ago, but already feels like a well-loved neighborhood spot. My wife and I visited on Sunday, 9/14, and were impressed right away by the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The location is fantastic, and the patrons we met were just as warm and friendly as Adam, the proprietor.
Adam is genuine, passionate, and especially enthusiastic about all things Italian. He’s originally from New Jersey, and his hospitality shines through in the way he interacts with guests. You immediately feel at home. Adam’s network runs from celebrities and musicians to Sopranos actors and even Sinatra’s relatives and he’s a car enthusiast too. He always has a great story to share.
The wine selection is excellent with over 180 labels, both old world and new world. They also offer wines by the glass through a self-serve machine, which makes it easy to try different styles without committing to a full bottle.
Beyond the wines, the space itself is intimate and thoughtfully designed. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in, relax, and savor a bottle while chatting with friends or striking up conversations with fellow patrons like we did.
We’ll definitely be back. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or just looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a glass, Vino del Mare is worth seeking out.

Vino Del Mare is the it place @ Ormond Beach. Monica is a great host offering top notch service. We were looking for a place to relax and enjoy the evening after a long work week and Vino Del Mare had everything we needed and more. Vino Del Mare offers a vast selection of worldwide wines, beers, tapas and even cigars for the enthusiast. We will certainly come back and hopefully become regulars.
