Poor little kid filling all the hot food selections and rolling utensils. The older girl served beverages. Nasty atmosphere, mold and or dirt on blinds, not appealing at all. At 4 PM the food looked not hours but days old. Not very warm. Quite bland. Could not get into the ladies room but door handles were crusty dirty. Not a place I plan to go back to. Feel sorry for that hard working little boy, though.

Horrible atmosphere. When we went too eat here there was a young child working extremely hard. He went to the back to get more food they were yelling, hitting, spanking him and he was screaming for them too stop. There was no reason and hes the only one we actually seen working so we paid and left. Will never eat here again 0 stars

A small group of us went to China Star because the restaurant that we wanted to go to was closed. We have been to several Chinese Buffets and we have all enjoyed them. This restaurant had very little selection. What they did have wasn’t particularly warm nor good tasting. I tried what they had and I can honestly say that only the vegetable lomein was actually good. Very disappointed!

1st visit this year, fresh food continually brought out, friendly staff, clean. Good variety for the small space. And Ice ❄Milk for desert. My husband enjoyed the shrimp and other seafood.

Food wasn’t hot. Staff not attentive even though no one was there. Ice cream was gritty and the cone wss stale. They charge full price for children. Not worth 8.99 plus the drink cost.

Only put 1 star because I had to and because the poor kid they had working was a good host..he’s gonna be somebody…but on the hand the food was cold and tasted old and some of the containers were empty…the owners sat there eating food they don’t even serve and the woman was yelling at the 8 YEAR OLD they had slaving while they did absolutely nothing….my advice if your planning to here TURN BACK NOW!!!!!!

Service was very good.
Food was awful. Sushi was just a fake crab stick with rice, and the noori was stale and chewy. Everything tasted bland, no spiciness at all. No general tso, no egg fu, no chow mein. The sesame chicken was just sweet and sour with sesame seeds, and it smelled like wet dog.
My suggestions- add some flavor. Gen tsos, kung pao beef, real crab in the sushi, tsurimi, put some meat in the egg rolls, maybe a bigger better selection of sushi-made to order to reduce waste.
Oh, and clean the bathroom, it’s disgusting..

I have come here for years… We always loved the rangoons and chicken wings. These last few times all the food is over cooked amd tasteless. I am sad that a family resteraunt has gone down so far.

I love China Star. My family eats there 2-3 times a month, at least. Their food is great and they’re very friendly. And the prices are good, too.

The owner (short Chinese woman with black hair) was screaming at her employees in the kitchen. When we got there Most of the buffees didn’t have food in them. The buffees that did have food in them the food tasted old. Also, the owner had her son (who looked about 7 years old) sweeping the floor, being a host, and cleaning tables.
