We stopped in while driving across the country and found extremely friendly and helpful waitstaff. The food was fresh and delicious, would definitely recommend a stop in if you’re in the area. And definitely get the sloppy nachos, so good! And the portions are HUGE!!

We came with our squirt hockey team and the restaurant was ready to serve a large crowd. They had a large se Section set up for our team and families. They informed us when we got there that they like to take care of youth sports teams, and had already started making pizzas for the kids. They also did not charge for the pizza! The pizza started coming out very soon after we got there so our hungry boys did not have to wait to start eating.
Sarah was our server and took excellent care of all of the parents. The food was great, drinks stayed filled, and they had games and cards for the kids to play with after they finished eating. The Sandbox handled the chaos of 14 boys, all their siblings, and parents, like they do it every day.

We stopped in for lunch about a week ago. It wasn’t busy upon arrival and took about 10 minutes for someone to greet us and take our drink orders. It seemed that they were quite understaffed especially as the lunch hour progressed.
Overall the chips and queso/salsa were great.
The breakfast burger was fantastic.
The classic cheeseburger was overcooked and only had burnt flavor on every bite.
The fries were great!
They were understaffed and unable to check in often on how things were going which was disappointing. We will give it another shot yet, I’m hoping things continue to improve!

We went to The Sandbox on the Kids Blacklight Night and it was a blast! Everyone had a great time, the kids were laughing, the games and Bingo were lively and we would absolutely love to support local businesses through these kinds of events. The food was amazing too! We had the Jalapeño Strawberry Jam burger and an order of wings which had a great price point, portions, and taste. Definitely making this a regular restaurant for us.

Stopped in for lunch and got a very friendly greeting from the bartender who was also my server. He was awesome. Attentive, personable, and very nice to the patrons.
The food was also two thumbs up. I ordered a Good Ol American Cheeseburger. Patties are 1/2lb, never frozen and grilled on grates over flame (done medium-medium well) so taste like a good homemade burger on the grill at home.
The bartender was informative sharing weekly specials and deals worth coming back for as well as events they hold.
It took me a while to make it over here but I’m definitely coming back. Hope these guys stay open for the long haul! Well done, Sandbox!

Excellent stop on our way out to Island Park to snowmobile. The place is gorgeous with 3 levels of seating and an outdoor patio. Food was delicious and our server handled our large group very well! Go try it if you are in the area.

We ended up trying this place because it was the only place that still had the kitchen open after 9:00 on a Sunday.
We absolutely loved the food! We were there during happy hour, So I got the sloppy nachos and garlic cheese bread both for half price. You can see in the picture I ate about a quarter of the sloppy nachos. But they were great reheated in the air fryer at home! The garlic cheese bread had amazing spicy marinara sauce and was also delicious. The others in my party had a burger and a hot ham and cheese sandwich, which they said were very good. The sweet potato fries were excellent!

I will say to start that this establishment just opened a week ago. So they are still working out the kinks.
Service would’ve ranked higher had there been more servers on hand, Sasha was our waitress and she was working her tail off and did a great job with the situation till more people came to help out.
Food I felt was good, appetizers were worth the wait, as you can see we had the cheesy garlic bread ( came on a baguette crisp outside and soft inside, cheese was melted to perfection, would like to have a little more garlic but was good) and the Lutheran sushi dip ( DONT let the name fool you) this was the highlight of my meal. If you like those pickles wrapped in ham and cream cheese you have at new years eve parties you will love this stuff. Basically a dip version with melted cheese on top. Serves with wonton chips.
Walleye sandwich was very good would’ve like a little more tartar sauce, but the fish wasn’t over battered and perfectly cooked.
The Sandbox club set as the storefronts name left me wanting more but not in a good way, felt like it was missing something, don’t get me wrong it was good, tomatos were fresh, toast was grilled nicely, meat and cheese melted well together maybe needs bacon. ( Everything better with bacon) Lol
I was too stuffed to have the dessert but it comes in a perfect to go type container, and a excellent proportion for the price pictured is the s’mores cake.
All in all a great new establishment, with a full bar and great appetizers, they also sell burgers and pizza, pizzas look delicious from the ones I seen. Definitely will return.

ABSOLUTE NEW FAVORITE bar and grill in the Fargo/Moorhead area! The atmosphere, staff, and entertainment is incredibly welcoming for family membes of all ages! 21+ after 10pm.
Every item I have eaten at the Sanbox has been excellent!
The Itialian Nachos are OUT OF THIS WORLD good and the Ham and Cheese on Sourdough is something I would order everyday! Every burger and wrap I have tried has been as advertised and better, I cant wait to try them all!

Well…on a positive note, the staff was very welcoming,our 2 servers were so friendly and attentive, but the food…eh. I ordered the surf & turf with sauce on the side. When it arrived, it was a pile of rice, with some grayish colored, lukewarm chunks of steak and 4 overcooked shrimp. It looked odd…and after a couple of bites I thought…Wait a minute, wheres the mushrooms & peppers? I asked the waitress who went to talk to the cook and his response was, oh..I thought I forgot something! I was surprised they didn’t offer to comp my meal. The side salads however were good! And the lutheran sushi and chips VERY good. TAP Beers however, not very cold. Kind of a disappointment as we were excited to try this new restaurant. Hopefully, growing pains?? We’ll try one more time…
