Bathroom Reviews (The Golden Plunger Critic)
Walking into this McDonald’s restroom was like stepping through a dimensional rift — from burger heaven to an oddly mysterious, modern bathroom that felt like a secret back room behind the grill. The smell of fresh burgers wafted in, which honestly wasn’t a bad start.
The floor? Immaculate. Shiny, spotless, and surprisingly elegant for a fast-food joint. Two — yes, two — hand dryers and a paper towel dispenser (with the classic brown industrial towels, naturally). That’s what I call options.
The stall itself was practically a studio apartment — large, modern, and equipped with a baby-changing station and its own trash bin. The toilet had a great flush, though I had to hold the button like I was negotiating with it. Not everything here was automatic, which made me question the bathroom’s sense of hierarchy.
The urinal zone, however, was a slip ‘n slide of questionable moisture. Whether it was splashback, mop water, or divine punishment, I nearly lost traction. Caution advised.
Sink performance was mixed: automatic but lazy, water colder than a tax auditor’s handshake, and the soap was the classic foamy blue variety with a sterile scent. Hand dryers felt eco-friendly in the worst way — polite but weak.
Still, modern design, cleanliness, and effort earn it a solid 3 Golden Plungers.
Pro tip: Bring good shoes. The tiles are slicker than a McFlurry machine excuse.

This is the only mcdonald’s location in the whole area that can seem to get anyone’s coffee order even remotely close to right. They are also the only ones that ever fix a mistakes without being rude to you like you were the one that made the burger or whatever it was you ordered, Whereas they are the ones who clearly made the mix up happen. The fort edward/hudson falls mcdonalds is great.

I ordered a Double Cheeseburger and a Quarter Pounder, and both were a mess. The double cheese was cold and somehow had melted cheese sitting on top of ketchup, which made no sense at all. It honestly felt like whoever made it didn’t care. The Quarter Pounder had the cheese underneath the patty and came with no onions.
I order this same meal from other McDonald’s all the time, and I’ve never had anything this bad. This location really needs to tighten up on quality and consistency.

Went for breakfast took 18 minutes from the time we ordered to the time we got the food! We were told they didn’t have folded egg when we ordered then when we paid they said they had folded egg! Everything was cold for paying over 30.00 it wasn’t worth it

Supposed to be a medium soda and large frappe but are both small when I questioned it the employee got an attitude and said there the right size and of course once again the shake machine is not working like every other day

Disgusting place to eat. Among other things when I got home and went to eat my quarter pounder with cheese it was raw, see photo. I just don’t understand this place at all, we will never dine there again for sure and neither will anyone I talk to.

I have never given a fast food place 4 stars. Came here at about 11:30pm. The “night crew” were not only super friendly and helpful, but you could tell they actually care about customer service. Food was ALL fresh, and made perfect. If I could come to this exact location anytime I’m craving the food, I would. Thanks to THE WHOLE crew for being awesome and especially great while I was almost done working a 14 hour shift and hadn’t eaten all day! ✌️❤️

I’m giving this place 1 star as I cannot give 0. It is the SLOWEST McDonald’s I have ever been to from NY to California
