Aman Palace is hands-down our go-to lunch spot. We order from them so regularly that they recognize us, today we even sent an order to the wrong address, and they called right away to double-check. They were right, of course, which we appreciated so much.
Our usual lineup is the Chicken Tikka Masala, Navratan, the Vegetarian Platter (the samosas are so amazing), and plenty of garlic naan. Everything is consistently delicious fresh, and full of flavor. They always deliver our food under 20 minutes.
Aman Palace is truly the best.

I got to know the owners because our children were in the Somerville Public Schools at the same time but it wasn’t till about 10 years ago that I realized they had the secret Indian menu and started eating here. Today I had the chicken samosa, and I can honestly say it’s the best I’ve ever tasted. Very lightly spiced minced chicken inside a perfect pastry shell that miraculously emerged from the fryer with all of the flavor and none of the grease. I wanted to say something about the prices but I’ll shut up before I spoil a good thing.

Was looking for quality Indian takeout and on reading reviews, I gave Union Square Pizza & Subs a try. Normally I would be skeptical (that the place is a pizza and sub joint) but the Indian was pretty legit and tasty. Looked to be possible family run. No place for eating in during these pandemic times that I saw during a takeout pickup.
Over 2 different orders we tried Vegetarian and Meat entrees (very good, tasted homemade and flavourful. Almost at the level of my regional fav, India Pavilion in Cambridge), garlic naan (excellent). The only miss was a Lentil and Garlic soup that only contained broth! (really no lentils or other ingredients), the broth tasted good with the supplied rice that came with our entrees.
I’ll give a pass on the soup this one time, as the food was quite good. Will continue to explore the diverse menu.

Just bad. So so so bad on all levels. I’d rather eat Chuck E. Cheese pizza. Worst pizza I’ve ever had in my entire life by a mile. I was looking for a late night snack and this place happened to be by my new apartment I just moved into. Will NEVER go back here again. My stomach is turning as I type. They didn’t even have a to-go box to put my pizza in. Please do not eat here.

My family enjoys the Indian food here. We have gotten it multiple times since 2021 and have enjoyed it every time. We have enjoyed the Chicken tikka masala, shahi paneer korma, and chicken curry and several friends who ordered other items off the Indian menu said they enjoyed them as well. A single entree often feeds one of us for two meals.

Went in on New Years Day. Great small family business with a very welcoming feel.
I was expecting medium quality pizza.
Instead got 9/10. Almost perfection. Crispy crust outside, chewy inner crust, fantastically gooey cheese.
Thanks for the great start to the new year.

I absolutely love the Indian food here! It’s tasty and super fast for takeout and delivery. So cheap for dinner and even cheaper for lunch. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because it’s in a random pizza place with zero signage for Indian and also it’s always a mess in there. I wish they would own their delicious Indian specialties and shout it out to the world!
When you enter you think surely I will get food poisoning but I’ve been eating here for 8+ years on a weekly basis and it hasn’t happened yet. I can’t get enough!

This is a fun spot in Union square, but never had the pizza here. The Indian food is always quality, quick and well priced for the outcome. Always gotten take out here. Lamb samosas are a new lovely find.

I called up the restaurant guy, the guy was rude and told that I intentionally added an insect into the rice and defaming the restaurant which is ridiculous. They wont agree that the rice was old and it had insects. I would strongly suggest not to order food from this restaurant. Additionally he thinks Indians do this intentionally and believes that whole indian community are like this. Sad to see people like this exist who have no respect about their own community.

Incredible food, one of the few authentic Indian places I have found in this city. Very much a hole in the wall hidden gem. Tasted like home cooked food – this just became my go-to spot for Indian.
It is a family run small business, so don’t expect fancy – expect great food.
Edit: don’t let the name fool you, this is an Indian place. I haven’t tried the pizza or subs – but why would I when the Indian is so good?
