This was the best dinner I’ve had in Longmont. Period.
We had the Oysters and Shrimp to start. The Oysters were from the east coast, they were very fresh with lots of meat. The Shrimp was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice.
Then we had the Lamb and Sea Bass. Colorado is known for lamb, and they couldn’t have cooked it more perfectly. It was a perfect medium rare and the polenta was creamy and delicious.
The Sea Bass was lightly pan fried and golden brown, with plenty of moisture inside. (Which means they fried it perfectly btw.)
I can’t wait to go back!

I see why it’s so popular and can be hard to get a reservation. It was spectacular. First time trying duck and it was delicious and perfectly cooked. Crispy and moist. I also had the beet salad and it was great. The cheese plate and calamari were also good. I was with three other people who cleared their plates. Worth the visit and will be back.

What an absolute delight! From the moment we stepped into Sugarbeet, we knew we were in for a special treat. The eclectic decor immediately caught our eye – it’s like dining in a personal gallery with every nook and cranny bursting with personality.
Our fabulous waiter, Max, was simply outstanding! He was not only friendly and attentive but also had a wealth of knowledge about the menu. His enthusiasm was infectious and added to our overall enjoyment of the evening.
Now let’s talk about the food! Each dish was a standout, showcasing intentional, unique, and fresh ingredients that danced with flavor! You can truly tell that the owner has spared no detail; every bite is a testament to their passion for creating unforgettable dining experiences. From the first appetizer to the last dessert, every dish was not only delicious but also thought-provoking and exciting.
If you’re looking for a hidden gem that combines quality, creativity, and an uplifting atmosphere, look no further. Sugarbeet is worth every penny! We can’t wait to return and try more exquisite dishes. Thank you for a lovely evening, Max and team!

This is an amazing dining experience! The menu and service is excellent. Sugarbeet is a must every time I visit Longmont from North Carolina. The presentation is almost too beautiful to eat but don’t forget to enjoy every bite.

We brought family from out of town here and everything was wonderful. The staff was so friendly and attentive and the food was delicious from start to finish. It was my grandmother’s birthday and our waitress made her feel so special! We don’t usually go to Longmont but since finding this hidden gem, we will be making a point of it!

Fantastic service, food was great but I would have made some other culinary decisions personally. Looking forward to trying it again. I loved that they brought out sparkling wine for the birthday girl but maybe should have asked first as I am sober and hate waste. Great higher end date spot for couples though.

Wow!! This was our first time here and the food was absolutely delicious. There were so many different flavors! Everything was plated so artistically and professionally. Service was wonderful. This will be our first pick for date night moving forward!

Too bad, had wanted to come here for a while. First they sat us in the corner directly next to the bathroom early on a Tuesday night when the restaurant was completely empty. Maybe you need reservations to sit in the full room? Silly nonsense either way.
Great wine selection here, the rest… The appetizers aside from burnt bread were okay, not worth the price. My raviolis were undercooked and I believe the chef spilled the entire salt shaker into the batch of sauce and let it ride… my wife’s Bistro steak was good but the sides were also extremely salty, and not warm. Desert was nothing special, you can buy better brownies and ice cream at Safeway.
Paid $190 with a bottle of wine and a 20% tip for our anniversary dinner and will not be going back. This is not the place for the working man to spend his money at with his wife. I would rather get a pizza, it will taste much better believe me, plus your wallet will thank you.

Wow, just wow. Traveling through town and ended up here after reading a ton of positive reviews. Expectations were high and the staff met every one of them. The presentation, pacing, food quality, and overall vibe were just steller. Can’t wait to visit again down the road. Well done, Sugarbeet!

When reservations were made for a weeknight we requested a quiet location since one of our party is hard of hearing. We were assured the request would be accommodated. Not long after being seated, the management seated a loud 7 person party two feet from our table. We requested to be moved but were told there were no other tables available. The rest of our dinner
