Very yummy dinner at this establishment last weekend! Food was satisfying and tasted great. We ate the lemon cheesecake dessert so fast that we didn’t even get a chance to take a photo! Service was pretty quick, communication was great and was provided with kindness and a smile. New fav Asian spot in Lebanon!

I pulled up last Saturday around 7:15 and was confused/disappointed as the “closed” sign was up. The owner came out (he was dejected) to explain that he had run out of food! I jokingly said “that’s a good problem to have” and he said not really since he was having to turn people away! He then asked how much food I was planning to order and I told him 2 entrees and an appetizer. He then waved me in and said he’d take care of me. Score! I got the curry chicken, sweet & sour chicken, and the bao buns. All of the food was amazing. Bao buns were full of delicious bbq pork, curry chicken had good kick (heat level 3 although I could have gone 4) and I couldn’t put it down. My wife had the sweet & sour chicken which tasted amazing, but loses the crunch when getting to-go. We’ll definitely be back to dine-in for that crunch and to sample some other items!

Stopped by craving to have some Pho. First time here and was told the pho was best eaten here. He was right it was delicious. I didnt want to stop eating. Broth was delicious and flavor filled plenty of noodles and meat. And their chili oil is great! Crab rangoon was also very good! I will definitely be back soon.

My husband and I had heard amazing things about Dak Der Asian Food in Lebanon, TN, so decided to come in for lunch. We ordered the chicken lo mien, shrimp & pork fresh rolls (1 of each), and Rangoon rolls 5/$5.

Everything was 100% on point, fresh, and delicious!! The owners/employees were wonderful and very hospitable. The space is small but clean and a nice, homey vibe when talking with the chef & staff. We WILL be back!!

Best beef pho I’ve had in Lebanon! The food tastes homemade, not like an usual restaurant meal. It honestly felt like I was eating at someone’s house. It was cold and raining outside, and their pho made me feel so warm and cozy. Such a familiar, welcoming place. I’ll definitely be back!

Dak Der is the best food I have ever had (no joke) the heart and soul that this family owned business puts into their restaurant is seen and felt in their food and hard work. I order the Beef Pho and oh my is it worth every penny you spend on it. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone (thank me later)

Had the drunken noodles, spot on!
Came for the pork buns after a friend told me about them. Delicious. I could eat a dozen of these babies! Just good food and the people that own/work there are so nice and friendly. Came out to talk to us and made sure we got the right level of spice.
The half Vietnamese tea/coffee was great.

While this may be a small and unassuming place. Don’t let it fool you on its food. The menu is small but the quality is in point. The food is hand made. Chef cuts his own and uses his own seasonings. These are his creations. Not ready made from a bag. We ordered the SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN , TERIYAKI CHICKEN, PHO , FRESH ROLLS WITH BBQ PORK, SPRING ROLLS. Portions are generous and prices very fair. Lovely owners who take pride in their service.

We ordered chicken lo mein, chicken pad Thai, crab rangoons, and spring rolls. Unfortunately, both entrées were oversaturated with soy sauce, making them extremely salty.

I eat Thai and Laotian food often as my best friend is Laotian. Pad Thai is one my fav dishes when dining at a Thai establishment and have never had it prepared this way. This version included broccoli, cauliflower, squash, zucchini, carrots, snap peas, and cabbage—an unusual combination that didn’t resemble any pad Thai I’ve had before. I only managed a few bites before giving up.

My fiancé felt the lo mein was edible but also too salty and lacking flavor, and not something he would order again. The appetizers were decent; the crab rangoons were better than the spring rolls.

Overall, this meal was very disappointing. 10/10 do not recommend, and we won’t be returning.

I visited Dak Der for the first time today. I didn’t know it was even there until a friend was googling “Asian food”, in Lebanon. It’s a small, clean, quaint little spot on East Main. The unassuming spot, tucked into a small group of businesses on East Main, did not disappoint when it came to the food. I had the pepper steak (level 2 heat) and an order of spring rolls. The pepper steak, on a bed of fried rice, was excellent. Tender, cooked just right, and seasoned just right. Stirred in with vegetables and resting on a fluffy bed of fried rice, the flavors blended nicely, but were still distinct. The level 2 heat was very nice, mixing the heat with some actual flavor, instead of just being “hot”, which is often the case. I’ll be trying level 3 next time, which will be soon. If you enjoy Asian cuisine, give Dak Der a serious chance. If my future visits are similar to today’s visit, this will be my go-to for Asian food. 10/10, DO recommend.
