We came to Paisans to celebrate my brother’s 45th birthday with a party of 15. First impression: excellent vibe—beautiful space, great energy, seated quickly, and our server Victor was outstanding. Attentive, professional, and handled a big group effortlessly. Service: 10/10.

Drinks & beer:
Paisans has their own house beer (yes—an actual Paisans beer).
It was clean, flavorful, and easy to drink. The michelada was solid, and my wife’s guava margarita was on point.

Wings (the real win):
We ran mild, BBQ, and Pineapple Habanero—and now I understand why people talk about their wings. Pineapple Habanero had layered flavor without being “blow your head off” heat. Wings: 10/10.

Pizza (where it fell apart):
We ordered multiple pies because Chicago raised us on pizza.

Thin-crust tavern style pepperoni (kids): solid—kids loved it, leftovers came home.

Tavern-style supreme: mid. Nothing memorable.

Stuffed pizza (supreme + pepperoni/sausage): this was the disappointment. If you grew up on Lou Malnati’s deep dish, Giordano’s stuffed, Gino’s East, and Pequod’s, you know what “stuffed/deep dish” is supposed to taste like.
This one was bland and basic—sauce tasted like it came from a can/bottle. It’s sitting in the fridge waiting to get eaten during the Bears game out of obligation, not craving.

Other notes: fries were minimal and forgettable. Molten chocolate cake was good—my son crushed it. Total tab was about $400 with gratuity—fine if the food hits, but the pizza didn’t.

Straight talk:

If you want wings + beer, this place works—especially for groups and game-day vibes.

If you want tavern-style, hit Moretti’s (Edison Park) (they’re literally known for tavern-style thin crust).

If you want a wings + beer + pizza alternative in the area, Easy Street is a strong play.

If you want Chicago pizza legends, stick with the staples: Lou’s / Giordano’s / Gino’s East / Pequod’s.

Final verdict: Amazing ambience, great service, great wings, and solid beer—but the pizza is mid, especially the stuffed. Come for wings & drinks. Skip it for pizza.

Food was amazing, especially the fried pickles! Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was great overall with nice servers, and the atmosphere is to DIE for. It’s such a chill niche place and I definitely recommend coming here!

We had a party of 3. Went on a Thursday night and got seated right away. The kind waitress recommended the Pete’s special pizza which consisted of Italian beef toppings and that was pretty mid, the pizza sauce is kind of sweet. The bbq and spicy garlic Parmesan chicken wings were my personal favorite. The wings were crispy and saucy. For desert we ordered the cookie with ice cream and it was a freshly baked cookie…so good! Overall very good food and cocktails, would definitely recommend this spot! Thank you to the kind staff and the cooks who made our dinner…delicious!

We came on wing night! No wait, fast, and friendly service. Our server Hugo made a few suggestions for wing sauce. The Dragon was amazing, if you like spicy sweet! The Spicy garlic parm is my new fav, thanks Hugo! Esbin wasn’t our server but he was very attentive. He got us caps for our left over sauces. Great attention to detail! Over all great experience!

I ordered a 6pc. Of Hot wings and slice of sausage pizza. Food was good. Very decent slice. Chicken wings were pretty good too. The area needed this place for sure. They also have good milkshakes.

Food was great, server Ingrid was excellent so happy there is a sit down pizza place again in Chicago. Location offers free parking on their lot or pretty easy street parking. Reasonable prices and lovely interior clean and bright with lots of tables for quick seating. Will be back soon. Open a location in the OHare area you will make a killing we need good food and a sit down family restaurant to bring back Pizza nights. Melrose, Northlake, Franklin would be amazing

My son was dying to go here since they opened. We finally went and he loved it minus the fact that it was tooo cold inside and my hubs went to the car for a blanket. Now for the food LOVED IT!! My drink did not disappoint either. Everyone was attentive and very nice. They made our night great. One thing though their menus do not match the other locations’ menu. My husband said they did not have Italian beef available at this location. Maybe because they are new so keep in mind not all menus are the same.

Me and my lady came in and we had the Sweet bbq wings and the dragon wings, we had the pizza bread, Lugini Pasta, and Chicken Alfredo. The pasta’s for both was over cooked and dry. The sweet bbq wings were overly sweet and the pizza bread was a little too sweet also. Overall the service was good and the manager stopped by to hear me out which was good.

Our server was so nice and she looked like she knew that menu forward and backwards! She was awesome.. my brother and I had the tavern style pepperoni it was good, but next time we’ll do regular or pan (we’re used to dough and extras cheese lol) but if you like the thin crust style, then it’s great! And to be honest, we were so torn trying to choose between pizza cause we wanted to try them all lol
