Reviews
Blade Sushi @ Fontainebleau Miami
The Place:
This was our second time around visiting this restaurant however, did not review it before. It is has a very casual atmosphere, even though, you can see some of the hotel’s guesses dressed for a night out. Staff is attentive and friendly.
The Food:
Very limited menu. We ordered the Miso Soup and two Ebi Tempura. I will have to agree with some of the previous reviews that the food all together is bland. The Sushi lacks taste even after adding the classic accompaniments (On the Side) Soy sauce, Wasabi or Gari (Pickled Ginger). The soup was okay. Prices are reasonable given the quality. Better choices out here, but if you are in the area or staying at the hotel and just want a quick bite, it will do.
“Eat deliciously”
They buffet is $48 per person or you can do the menu
The coffee is bad
We tried Americano
American brew
Espresso and Late
The only good one was the Late with Almond Milk
I guess because they didn’t make it with machine!
The Avocado Tost and French tost not impressed
The tasteless miso soup missed the mark by 90%, it looked very beautiful and appetizing until you try it. Both rolls – the blade and the salmon were not tasty. Very bland. The rice is not authentically prepared with vinegar that gives it distinctive taste not the distinctive was chosen.
There are no other sushi restaurants within walking distance so it had to do but would not return again. The sashimi with salmon were off and not tasty, again big contribution from the wrong rice/method of preparation. I wouldn’t recommend this place rather than head to any other restaurants on the property. I had good experience there.
Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely incredible! Blade serves some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Each dish is beautifully crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients that burst with flavor. My personal favorite was the spicy tuna—it was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat and the tuna was incredibly fresh. I couldn’t get enough of it!
I also have to mention the seaweed salad, which was out of this world. It was light, refreshing, and packed with flavor, making it the perfect starter to balance out the richness of the sushi. Every bite was so satisfying!
Whether you’re a sushi enthusiast or someone looking to try something new, blade is the place to be. The combination of top-tier food, a chic ambiance, and excellent service makes this spot in Miami a must-visit. Highly recommend it to anyone craving amazing sushi and a great dining experience!
