Our 1st visit. Ordered the lobster deep fried over fries . I added 1 piece of catfish. My husband ordered the shrimp boil. Everything was good.

Unfortunately many of the things we wanted to try were out. Limited staff but the young lady who bartender, stepped in to waitress. She didn’t miss a beat.

We’re told that Sundays are the best days to visit for the soul food and seafood meals and egg roll peach cobbler.

I ordered through door dash for pickup. When I arrived to pick up my order, I was told there wasn’t any fries after I asked where they were. Then the food was EXTREMELY cold. The wings tasted like they were cooked at 9am and still being served at 5pm and they were not seasoned (Very shocking). The dressing looked cream of wheat and was ice cold. the only thing that was decent was the mac and cheese. I spent $22 but the meal all together was worth $4.50!! The soda was ice cold though and there was great customer service. I am sad to say I will not be returning. Especially if I have to pay my own money.

my partner and i came here for dinner the other night, which was a great experience. we got the snow crab boil which was very tasty! we did dine in, the atmosphere was very comfortable and the staff were very kind and helpful. 10/10 experience here! the soul rolls were awesome too 🙂

Service was good. The were out of the fried pickles we ordered so we got loaded fries instead. The food was all disappointing though. My wife’s Cajun chicken and shrimp Alfredo was mediocre, my chicken poboy tasted alright but I couldn’t eat the roll it came on cuz it was rock hard.

The only reason I am writing a review is because there were two significantly size bones in the soul roll I ordered that I nearly broke my teeth on. I thought it was just a hard piece of pasta from the Mac n cheese so I tried crunching it and had a pain in my jaw.

Overall it was not a terrible experience but the quality and quantity of food was not worth the price and we will not order again.

Best of luck to others experience, hope you find it better than us.

I ordered fried catfish, fried okra, black eyed peas and greens. The food tasted good. I didn’t like that it took over an hour for it to be delivered. I live north in Kenosha. When it finally arrived, this obese woman huffed and puffed very slowly up one flight of stairs. She was the delivery person. My food was tossed around in the container and mixed together. I would order here again but only for dine in.

Came in with my husband because we wanted to try something new and I love southern/creole food. The fried green tomatoes were amazing, we should have gotten 2 orders of them so I could have an order to myself. We just had our honeymoon in the Caribbean this winter and the rum punch definitely tasted authentic. I had the crab leg boil for dinner and everything was cooked perfectly, soft potatoes, juicy corn, and meaty crab. I wish there was a small bucket for the shells though. My husband got the wings and though they were on the smaller side, there were a lot of them and he said the meat and flavor was good. The team was all very kind and polite. Ambiance could use some cool paintings on the walls, but they may be working on that because I did see some hooks up. Will definitely either go here or order again, lots more to try! The catfish po boy and gator bites are next.

I called to order the vegan boil on a Sunday not knowing the menu was different. The employee on the phone informed me none of the Sunday food was vegan, but offered to make us fried green tomato po’ boys. They were delicious!

My husband got the chicken wing platter. The sides were awesome (yams, greens and Mac and cheese) but the wings themselves were a little under flavored for his liking.

We will be back soon to try the vegan boil!!!

A solid 5 stars! This was our 2nd time here and so far it is consistently delicious food! We were there early so it wasn’t too busy yet. I love the relaxed atmosphere here. Service was great, checking on our table frequently to see if we needed anything. We have had Lobster Po Boy, Shrimp Boil, Crab Boil, Gator Bites, loaded fries with Lobster (good size pieces too! ), wings, mac n cheese! All of it was delicious. We will definitely be back and also recommending this great restaurant to our friends! I was a little sad tho that I got there too early to hear the live music they were going to be playing after we left!

This was my first time coming to this place and I was very nervous. The environment was very loud and the seating was very scarce and uncomfortable (definitely not meant for a long or big family or friend event). The customer service wasn’t the greatest at first, but they fixed it afterwards. The food however, was excellent. I had gotten the BBQ chicken with cheese fries and both was amazing. We also got fried pickles as an appetizer and that was excellent. My friend got lobster pasta and she loved it. The food is excellent, but the environment and seating area was very disappointing and not welcoming. Would I come back? No, after the second time eating here the food keeps making me sick because of the after taste.
