One of the best places in town to get a soup, salad, or sandwich! I love that you can have a gorgeous full lunch or just treat it like a coffee shop and get something from the espresso bar and pastry. They also have a great selection of wines, and for the holidays have some extra locally sourced gifts.

Hate to say it but don’t bother and just go to the Market of Choice pre-made foods counter. The cauliflower curry was awful – old rice, two pieces of super mysterious chicken. Saddest thing ever.

The kale Caesar? Punishment. The kind of food you serve your kids when they’re bad. Tough, huge pieces of kale under a bed of parm.

‘The Italian was okay’ (direct quote)

Chicken salad sando was okay too. The bread good.

Cookies were CRISPY…

Shop & Service – fantastic ⭐️

Great coffee, good vibes, beautiful atmosphere, great music and amazing food! I’ve been coming here for years, my entire work place comes daily for lunch or coffee and pastries. As well as take home items for dinner like fresh frozen pasta sauce or soups. The ever changing market items are always fun to find new treats and gifts for friends!

Love the sandwiches and salads but don’t skip on their amazing coffee ✨

Stopped by Taylor Street Kitchen with a friend and had the best little reset. We split a sandwich, soup, coffee, and a treat — everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully done. The coffee was exactly how I like it: creamy, toasty, and delicious. The soup was packed full of vegetables, and the focaccia bread was so good it could become a dangerous new addiction if they ever sell it on its own.

The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The café itself is a super cute urban spot, perfect for a quick 20-minute recharge.

Five stars for the service, five stars for the ingredients, and five stars for the cozy vibe. Highly recommend!

Soups are made from scratch and delicious. I don’t like bacon or butternut squash so I didn’t try that weeks soups. I did get a granola bar that was absolutely delicious. I also split a sandwich which was good a little dry it needed more pesto. Coffee is reasonably priced. Definitely grabbing a loaf of bread on my next visit.

I popped in today for a late lunch and was so pleased with the tuna salad sandwich!! it was everything I could ever want (and more!) – capers, greens, mama lil’s peppers! and the bread it was on was wonderfully salty and a little oily too (but not too much so!).

I also grabbed two matchas for my partner and I. I loved the assortment of syrups available and also the cute to-go cups. the matcha itself was the perfect balance of milky and matcha-y although I think I might ask for slightly less syrup in mine next time.

overall a really positive experience and I will definitely be back! it was the perfect treat after a busy morning.

The quality of the soups have really taken a nose dive in the past six months. The tomato soup is no longer rich with cream and basil, but more like a pureed vegan vegetable mix. The potato soup was a thin and bland stock base with big hunks of pork fat and a few measly potato slices.

The sandwiches are still great and the salads are pretty good, but for a $20 lunch, I still expect more excellence overall.

Why the drop in quality, Taylor St? Did you lose omnivore kitchen staff along with your in-house baker, and nobody is tasting the meat/dairy items to make sure they’re of the quality they once had?

Incredible spot! The mortadella was the best sandwich of our lives. We loved the salty ciabatta round too. If you care about quality ingredients and delicious food at a good price, this is your spot. Thank you—we’ll be back!

I asked for recommendations from the staff and they were extremely helpful in picking out different options from the lunch menu! The soups were incredible. I was not expecting them to be so good! The atmosphere was very relaxing. I highly recommend this place!
