A wide variety of korean side dishes, soups and snacks. The quality is good as in it’s not commercially too flavorful and thus it tastes homemade. These types of comments are coming from Korean ahjummas so it’s legit.

This place is undeniably popular and well-frequented, and while the food quality is generally good, customer service can often come across as rather discourteous. On one occasion, I was informed that my reserved item had already been sold, and the response seemed to imply that I should simply understand and accept the situation.
More notably, some of the staff give off a strong impression that the business does well regardless of whether a customer comes or not. Although the lunch menu is well-curated and the pricing is reasonable, the attitude and approach toward customer service leave room for improvement.
While the popularity of the establishment may continue, I hope the management acknowledges that such issues are being noticed. Good food alone does not justify a “take it or leave it” attitude. it’s very rude.

Every time I visit during lunchtime, the person at the counter neither greets me nor says thank you. I only go because I like the lunch boxes, but unfriendliness in customer service is the worst thing for a business. She needs proper training!

The old lady owner consistently displays rudeness, often responding to my questions about food with a sour attitude. Sometimes, she doesn’t bother to answer and instead resorts to non-verbal gestures like nods or chin-pointing. Despite being a loyal customer, she openly expressed displeasure at the inconvenience of placing orders during busy days. After many tries, it all tastes pretty similar. There are plenty of other spots around there selling “Banchan” with tastier options and friendlier service. I’m definitely not going back there any more after those awful experiences with her.

Probably the best Korean Food found in NJ. I have frequently bought the Lunch Menu for my Kid and I was never disappointed. They prepare a various kinds of menu each day. I strongly encourage you to try this place if you’re looking for the best Korean Foods.

An excellent source for a wide variety of authentic Korean side dishes. The owner is also very outgoing and generous. I’ve been here multiple times, and have had the same experience every time.

This is my favorite prepared meal/side dish place nearby. it is neat and well made with no or little MSG which I am allergic to. Plus most prepared food tend to be salty but it is not the case here. Anything you pick up will be a good choice, I haven’t had anything that wasn’t decent yet. My favorite dishes have been hamburger steak (Korean meat patty), he dip bop (raw fish over rice and veggies) and chung gook jang (short-term fermented soy bean paste soup). Their lunch menus change weekly and they cost $8 which come with a bowl of rice, kimchi and a soup of the day.

The owner / lady at the register is very rude. They should hire someone who smiles and is happy to see customers instead of acting in a condescending manner.
