With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

I always tell the barista to make it hot , sweet , with four shots , at least. i let them pick and make whatever it is.They just choose.

We love Human Bean!! Only coffeeshop we visit when we come to Colorado. We either stop at thr Wellington location or the Fort Collins location. Both have fantastic employees and the best coffee you’ll ever have.

One of the slowest coffee experiences I’ve had in a long time. All I ordered was a drip coffe with cream. 8 minutes in line. There was only two cars in front of me.
Staff seemed disorganized and unsure what to do.
It wasn’t even really that busy, but the wait times were long for everybody in line. Wish I had stopped at Starbucks.
Had to come in and leave an update. Just tasted my coffee a few minutes after getting it and realized it didn’t have any cream. So I opened up the lid to see how bad it was, spill the coffee all over my shirt. Not a good experience at all today

Probably won’t go back. The staff are nice enough but the prices and quality are not worth it! $18 for a very dry $7 pastry that staff said had chocolate in and on it when it really had chocolate only on the outside, not inside. Plus, the drink was okay, not great. Way overpriced for mediocre quality at best.

Soooooo good never have had a bad drink here. I’m not a fan of coffee that much but I like it when it’s light tasting. They make every drink perfectly! It’s the perfect amount of like flavors and coffee!
ASLO! They have gluten free options!!!!! For food and it’s so good. Also vegetation! Which is amazing because it’s kinda like GF “fast food” but real food and better!

First time we stopped in wellington, probably won’t be back. Was charged $22.74 for 2 32 oz granitas. We ordered a mocha granita and a snickers granita .. not sure why it was almost $7.00 more than what we pay in Fort Collins and Cheyenne. Should have been $7.95 each. One specialty one 32 oz granita.. and she made the first one a caramel mocha granita and I repeated it twice. Sad… and dissapointed. we love Human Bean but will stop in Foco next time.

I am not a coffee person by any means so ordering things at these places are like speaking a foreign language. The barista was the biggest sweetheart! She was patient with me and helped translate my ridiculous attempt to oder drinks. I wish I knew her name and mean no offense but she had longish blonde hair, thank you!

Today is the last day that me and my family will be going to the Wellington location… I only get the Irish cream, breve some people get it right some people get it wrong… Sometimes, even though it’s not quite right, it’s still drinkable, but after today two drinks, I can’t believe this girl makes coffee… she had glasses and brown hair and she worked the morning shift like around five or 6 AM we showed up. When my husband returned the drink and told her that it was completely gross, and we explained what we did not like about the coffee. This girl told us it was supposed to taste like that.?? Then made us another one on purpose and made it even worse… The bad reviews are at the bottom for a reason if I were anybody looking for a coffee place, I’d scroll down you’ll see I’m not the only one that complains about the inconsistency of coffee making at this place. Things are too expensive for people not to get it right I’d move on.
