Customer service SUCKS. Employee smacking and talking while making food. Super rude and impatient with customers request. Food was sloppy and falling all over the place. On top of that they have the ordasity to say there bathroom is closed for paying customers. Yet u have an rea for seated eating customers. Trash can never get my service!!!

Went to grab lunch before a dive. There were people behind me on line that got serviced before I did. Needless to say the bread magically was out after that. How is this anyway to run a business? I won’t ever be going back to Old Saybrook. Terrible service. Never even ordered I was so mad.

They wouldn’t let my husband pick up my mobile order without a receipt, so you can rest assured that they won’t let anyone steal your mobile orders. The sandwiches were good, but they left off two ingredients. Because it was a mobile order, I didn’t notice until I got home, so I’m taking off one star for that.

Wanted to try new and “improved” slicing on premises. They declined to accept coupons mailed to the same town several days earlier. Paid $42.00 for 3 grinders and they made a $2 mistake in their favor. Will NEVER go there again.

got yelled by the owner for using coupon, was told to “go ahead report to the corporate” and turns out subway corporate feedback routed back to the store. should have checked the review before going there.

Placed an online order & went to pick it up (30 mins later) only to have them tell me my order wasn’t ready. They called someone and then the person on the phone told them my order was “cancelled.” I never cancelled the order, showed them on the app that my order still said it was ready to pickup, and not cancelled, and they proceeded to argue with me and tell me I was wrong & that I cancelled my order. I showed them multiple times the phone screen showing my order but eventually gave up because the women working kept arguing with me rather than just making the order or refunding me. They refused to refund in store and told me it would be refunded next day. The next day came, and the charges for just shy of $30 went thru. I called Subway customer support who advised me that my order WAS cancelled by the store, and that they should’ve been able to refund me. I have called the store 3x, they hung up on me twice and they’re telling me they can’t do anything. They finally gave me the managers cell after I let them know I had spoken to corporate, and I am currently waiting for a call back. All this over $30 they could’ve just refunded or made the order while I was there. Needless to say I will no longer be visiting this location, and the customer support from Subway headquarters noted they would be investigating this location as it isn’t the first time they’ve received this complaint for this store. I will note – when Santos is working I have never had any issues with my orders. Just with the females working 1/28 & 1/29.

Great subway; It may sound odd, but not all subways are alike in my opinion. Aside from being franchises, I’ve noticed they all don’t taste the same (seriously). However, THIS subway has always been delicious! Never fails me.

Do not go to this subway! Sandwich unit is cross contaminated. The staff is rude and talks back to you when you are trying to order. When I asked them to get tomatoes free from contamination they replied back with. ” It is on the other side of the container…” Let me tell you .. that is cross contamination… Even after telling her I have an allergy to the product causing the crosscontamination she was refusing to grab from new not contaminated container. Finally she went to the back with so much attitude and returned with new tomatto slapped it on my sandwich and said “there… Now what?” She continued to Ibe rude to me the rest of my order…. Had horrible food poisoning last night. And today I am still feeling sick… NOPE

Subway isn’t exactly the shiny fresh, healthy alternative to greasy fast food that it used to be. Each location’s quality is greatly determined by the franchise owner, which makes it highly variable. As far as Subway goes, this one does a decent job.
