Today was the grand opening of the new Asian Madness Buffet, located at 299 S. Pompano Parkway in Pompano Beach. For those having a hard time with directions, it sits on the corner of Powerline Road and N. Course Drive, where the old Ruby Tuesday used to be, near the restaurant La Vie, or across Powerline Road from the Pomp.
Madness Buffet is an Asian-fusion eatery at war to invade the Palm-Aire territory. This culinary campaign is led by the troupe of General Tso, reinforced by Japanese samurai and Mongolian allies, marching boldly against the dominance of Italian and Mediterranean restaurants. Their headquarters offers a refreshingly and beautifully revamped modern American décor, a departure from the traditional gold-and-red murals and ornate Chinese lanterns.
I know it is probably too early to tell, but surprisingly, in its very first battle, the food was wonderful. The variety of dishes was abundant, featuring all the traditional favorites we Americans are familiar with, along with an impressive and colorful array of beautifully crafted sushi rolls, complemented by a skilled hibachi master—chop-chop, Sensei! The choices were so vast that I could only sampled a little bit of everything, except for the sushi (that will be saved for my next visit, very soon).
Our group of six dared to embark on this unknown adventure, and to our delight, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the offerings. I ran into many local friends and neighbors who were also adventurous there tonight, and I asked each one what they thought of the food. Everyone was elated.
I know there are many of you out there who will find something to criticize, but I am confident the majority of Palmairenians residents and neighboring communities will agree that Asian Madness Buffet offers a great bang for your buck. In today’s high-priced economy, their rates are very reasonable:
Weekday Lunch – Adults $15.99; Children (7–10) $10.99; Kids (3–6) $8.99
Dinner – Adults $22.99; Children (7–10) $15.99; Kids (3–6) $13.99
Seniors – Lunch $14.99; Dinner $20.99
When the buzz begins to circulate around town, I anticipate there will truly be some “Madness” to get to this “Buffet”.

This might be the best Asian buffet in Southeast Florida. Excellent food and service. Even your tableware is high quality, heavy, and branded. This restaurant is located in a very nice, clean and safe community. The bathrooms are clean, kept up, and modern. The appearance of the buffet islands is stylish. There is nothing broken, duct-taped, wobbly, or worn-out. I will be returning again.

Absolutely LOVED our experience at The Madness Buffet! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcomed. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious with so many great options. A HUGE shoutout to Cindy—she was beyond amazing! She took excellent care of my family and me (party of 5) during lunch, was super attentive, and kept our drinks refilled without us even having to ask. Her energy and service truly made our visit unforgettable. We will 100% be back!

A group of friends and my wife and I went to the buffet for lunch. There was a wonderful variety of food to suit everyone. Food was outstanding, hot and perfectly labeled to make it easier to serve yourself. The cleanliness and service was exemplary. Our server Mao was top notch Water glasses and sodas refilled without asking. The general atmosphere of Madness Buffet is inviting and cozy. They accommodated us at a large table to seat seven. The people who read this review should not miss out on this delicious and buffet.

Tonight was the 4th time I’ve dined at Madness buffet. I’ve been there twice for lunch and twice for dinner. I’d give Madness Buffet more than five stars if I could. Everything is served hot and fresh. The chicken variations were all delicious, and the shrimp—especially the shrimp cocktail, fried, and coconut varieties—were outstanding. The barbecued ribs were meaty and ultra-tender, a standout. The wait staff promptly removed dirty dishes and refilled our water cups when needed. The interior has been completely renovated and is very clean and modern. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return. Word is getting around town about how this buffet is a “must try”. Arriving during peak times you may experience a short wait time for a table.

I drove from delray b,26 min. We in palm beach have no decent buffets except a Japanese full service one. This is a everything oriental buffet. Its new, super clean, super selections, sushi, sashimi, hot dishes oysters, spare ribs, all basic Chinese servings, some desserts. It was crowded and only a month old. They do a great job restocking all dishes. Soups were also good. Let’s hope they pricing and crowds keep coming. Its not like Miyoko buffets but u pay $12-14. More to eat their servings as there are more japenese oriented

Top notch chinese buffet, great service and food. This was much needed in the pompano beach area. Priced at the 20$ its well worth it for a buffet with sashimi sushi oysters and more. All its missing is snow crab legs but I will well forfeit legs that are a mission to crack for little to no meat if im paying 10$ less than the buffets that offer this too plus there is virtually no wait here for now! MIYAKO can have a 2 hour plus wait.

I came to this buffet with my family who likes sushi. We were looking for healthy food options.
Unfortunately the fish entree was drowning and below the surface of oil and sauce and the chicken options too were overly saucy. So I headed over to the hibachi area with excitement. There were no fish options ove there only fake Krab. So I brought over some raw salmon from the sushi bar to have the man cook it. He refused, even after I explained I don’t eat sushi or oily food. I pleaded with him to just cook it this one time. He responded by taking the raw salmon from my plate and throwing it in the garbage rather than cooking it on the hibachi grill for me. I have done this in many sushi buffet restaurants with no problem and there was no sign otherwise here.
I found this very rude and arrogant and will not return. My family and guests were there at the hibachi area and were shocked too at how rudely this situation was handled. It ruined our evening.
