The Halwa puri platter was awesome. I normally don’t order vegetarian entrees but puri is something special. These didn’t disappoint, flaky, inflated pillows of deliciousness. The platter wasn’t huge but I would say the price is right in line with all the other food trucks here. Each curry was delicious in the platter. They have a chili oil they drizzled on the chickpea one that had a subtle sweetness that was great. Next time I’d ask for extra oil drizzle.

I was here specially to eat Halwa puri and celebrate my friend’s birthday. This is a food truck and the food that you get is authentic, home cooked food and delicious. They’re mostly around San Francisco near Presidio and Valencia. The city vibe, the delicious food and their hospitality is priceless. We ordered Halwa puri which is mostly breakfast that has two big puris, chickpea curry, a tangy potato curry along with halwa which is a sweet dish and it was completed with Kashmiri chai. One must try as this tea is pink in color with a little salt taste which breaks the sweetness, loved it.
After that we got charga, this is a special chicken dish which goes through a process and the result of that can be only experienced after eating it. This dish comes with chicken leg, pulav rice, and salad.
We loved everything and before saying goodbye to them we had another Kashmiri chai and started walking around the city. Do follow them on Instagram @lahoredikhushboo and find out where they are going to be. On December 18th they will be in Pleasanton near Peri Peri as they do tie up with other restaurants as well. You can book them for private events as well. I’m already looking forward to that date, make sure you’re too. A delicious Pakistani style cooked food brings the aura and taste of the place where it started this journey. I highly recommend this food truck. Since it was my friend’s birthday we got a complimentary sweet dish rabdi kheer with gulab jamun which was delicious and not very sweet. Try out of you like dessert that’s made out of dairy.

We were visiting from TN and looking for good authentic Pakistani food and Lahore di khushboo did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the service was top notch. We tried their halwa poori platter, nihari, chai, and falooda. Everything was delicious! The 601 mission bay location has plenty of seating for dining in.
Make sure to check their FB page to know their exact location for the day or call them. The owner answered our call and kindly directed us on how to reach the truck. All in all, it was one of the best experiences of our vacation. Will definitely be back when we are in town again!

The food and service here were absolutely delicious and the backdrop is amazing! Loved seeing the Golden Gate Bridge as we finished off our food here. Would definitely recommend cooking to visit and we’ll definitely be back soon!

The food is excellent (there are standards you will recognize if you like Pakistani and Indian cuisine, plus some Lahore specialties), the couple who run it are helpful and friendly, plus you can order online beforehand, and pick it up when you walk by — very helpful when time is tight. Also extremely vegetarian friendly, as well as for those who are unfamiliar with this cuisine (don’t sleep on the burger, it’s NO JOKE).

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Lahore di Khusboo

My family and I were visiting San Francisco and decided to try Lahore di Khusboo. We spent over $100 on food, expecting a great experience, but we were sadly let down. The portions were surprisingly small for the price we paid – definitely not worth it. After receiving our order, we realized we didn’t have enough ketchup for the fries, so I went back to ask for more. To my surprise, the staff was incredibly rude and refused to give us extra ketchup, saying, “We can’t afford to give you extra ketchup.” This attitude was completely unacceptable, especially after we had just spent a substantial amount of money.

The food itself was nothing special, and the customer service left a lot to be desired. We won’t be returning to Lahore di Khusboo and highly recommend looking elsewhere if you’re in the area. Terrible experience overall.

Was craving Pakistani food, and heard about this food truck in SF. Halwa puri is only served on weekends so I didn’t get a chance to try it but their chaat and chai hit the spot. The owners even gave us free dessert – Gulabjaman rabri which was delicious. Wonderful people and service.
