I have tried the Thai vegan place next door, so I decided to try the sushi. The avocado and cucumber roll was my favorite. The spicy tuna roll was a little strange and wasn’t spicy. For some reason that one would sometimes taste faintly of peanut butter. But the service was fast and friendly. I would come back for the pure veggie rolls.

There are plenty of creative vegan sushi options here (which is a great benefit), but the flavors didn’t stand out as I anticipated. I was hoping that flavors popped as you ate the food item, but that wasn’t the case. The rolls were a bit mild in flavor. The ingredients are fresh and ripe. The service is quick, but the dining area is narrow and tight. However, there is an outside seating option if you want or need the space. It was clean and neat.

If I could, I would rate this place 0 stars. The only acception of eating here would be if I were starving to death. The sushi was purple and the food they served was totally not what we were expecting based on the pictures shown on the menu. The #04 contained sweet potato on the sushi and it was sweet potato mush. We were at least expecting cut steamed potato. Not cold mashed potato. They also served edamame and it was seriously overcooked. I was not able to eat it. There were also some flies and ants in the restaurant that made it quite uncomfortable to eat. The people were lovely but the food was not very good.

Narita Vegan Sushi shares the same restaurant space with Thai Vegan on Main Street.
I’ve been to Thai vegan numerous times, whose food is delicious, so I had to try the sushi here.
I got three rolls: the Alaskan roll, the California roll, and the Narita special roll. Everything tastes delicious, and their customer service is 10/10.
The sushi had so much flavor that I didn’t need to dip my sushi in soy sauce or teriyaki sauce.
100% recommended!
Also, if you are thirsty, try the vegan ice Thai from Thai Vegan. It’s so refreshing.
I’ll be back here to try more rolls and sushi combinations. I want to try their vegan salmon avocado roll and Salmon Vegan Sushi.

Bursting with flavor, this vegan sushi is wonderfully prepared with every intention to provide nutrients and taste without boasting to be “fake sushi”. I went right before closing after a long beach run, the ingredients tasted fresh and I was very impressed with the large menu options. I love that it is sit down cafeteria style, where there are two small adjacent booths where you can choose vegan sushi or vegan Thai, if you’d like you could get one of each. It is good honest food served at an affordable price. The portions are large and last well as takeout and leftover items 5/5 would definitely recommend. My favorite so far is the Aloha roll with pineapple topping. There is a large parking lot right behind. It parking is very affordable at about a dollar an hour or you can simply drive up a block or two and park in the neighborhood

Delicious totally VEGAN sushi with so many different types of rolls to choose from. The rolls are all really substantial size and filling, too. And they come with a salad on the side. The spot is a tiny gem, they have some indoor seating and open into a courtyard you could sit in, too. Really good!

Every roll we ordered was amazing, affordable, and the staff was very friendly. There were many options to choose from and everything came out perfectly. It was definitely just as good as, if not better than, sushi that is not vegan.
