What a gold mine this place is out in Lima! Atmosphere is old school meets modern. We had great service sitting at the bar for drinks and our food. There are some really great creative cocktails like the X-ray vision. Dare say the best wings I have ever eaten. Don’t know how they cook them but they are so so good. It’s not that far from Rochester so no excuse for not going. I suggest taking route 65 to go there. It’s the scenic back roads way.

For starters I’m a foodie and a hard critic when it comes to smoked meat. I have been staying in Rochester and looking for the best BBQ spots around. I saw all the awesome reviews for this place on Google and decided it was a must to check out. I’m so grateful we did! Me and my buddy both got the Smoked Turkey Sandwich and it was phenomenal! Everything is fresh, seasoned properly, and the ratios are on point. We got 2 sides to go with the sandwich and split them. We got a small order of Steak Fries which were seasoned and amazing and also a small order of Cucumber Dills and they were seriously refreshing. The place is really cool inside, it’s very clean, and tastefully decorated. The customer service was the absolute best! The prices are really fair and it’s worth the drive from Rochester! I highly recommend!

P.S.
Their soda is locally made and awesome as well.

Smoked wings are out of this world. Large juice drums and flats with a generous, but not overpowering, smoke. Deep fried for a few minutes to yield to perfect crispy skin.
The Alabama White Sauce is a perfect topping. The Ligonberry BBQ sauce is also fantastic and unique to the Normal. Of course they also have traditional Buffalo sauce and BLUE CHEESE dressing for dipping ( No love for Ranch
here.)
The atmosphere is post modern atomic and a refreshing change from medium gray hard booths of the chain restaurants. The service is very quick and the prices are fair. Come for thr meat and stay for a craft cocktail.

The service was so great and the atmosphere is really good, but it was pricier than we can justify for a BBQ trip. Very glad we tried them and I hope they do well, just a bit rich for our budget! (Meat is ~$34/lb. $17 brisket sandwich. $9 large/$7 small for fries and mac & cheese). The mac & cheese is a watery type, not our preference. The fries are potato wedge style, well seasoned.

What a great find while on the road!!! The wings and ribs were delicious!!! The mac n cheese was creamy but needed a little more seasoning. The craft beer was ok. We asked for vodka cran with club soda, but they had no cran, and the bartender just gave our server straight club soda.
Our server was attentive and very friendly. What a great place to eat in this quant little town. I recommend coming here if you’re nearby.

Best dang wings I’ve ever had, and I’ve had them from Buffalo to Korea. These wings are meaty, smoked then fried. Cocktails are nice too. I had an Old Fashioned and the Crop Circle.

Our group of 6 had a wonderful experience last night for dinner. My wife and I had a full rack of their St. Louis pork ribs smothered in lingonberry BBQ sauce. The meat was perfectly cooked with a soft pull apart tenderness that left a clean bone. The sauce was great; if you like lightly sweetened lingonberries, you’re going to love this. We also had an order of smoked cauliflower which was new to us. It was tasty and novel, almost like a meaty veggie. We also had pit beans and potato salad. All yummy and way too much so we brought a bunch of it home. So A+ on the food. Other highlights include friendly service (it wasn’t busy so we had engaging conversations with the manager/server/host? – wish I had asked more about her role); overall aesthetic (nice old converted building with brick walls and high tin ceiling) and design theme (LOVE the 20th sci-fi comic book look); ordering simplicity (via QR code and Toast app, though it took our older friends a moment to figure it out); and beer choices (including Surly, from Minneapolis (we’ve visited their brewery – it’s big and fun)). Great location with easy parking. Excellent experience all around. Highly recommended!

Very lucky to have found this hidden gem. Their cocktails pair perfectly with their menu. My favorite dishes are their smoked wings and a new addition of their dessert of “Dream Cake”. If I go for a meal or just a couple cocktails the atmosphere is always top notch.
