All I can say if you are just looking for a place to wind down then take my recommendation and stop into The Wine Room At The Cottage, that’s what we did..we were just driving by and we said why not. Every time we are in town, we make it a point to stop in for either a glass of wine or one of their wonderful boards or even a full dinner that I must say is eclectic.
Did I mention that they have live music playing to make the experience even that much more better.
The Wine Room is exactly what I always said we needed, as we all visit the wineries during the day, but I also like my wine at night, and I receive the same experience.
The owner and her staff are amazing and attentive to your needs and cater to your needs, and the wine selection is one of the best..

Popped in last night with my wife and were both very pleased that this opened in the area. They have a great selection of wine, light cocktails and beer and there was live music when we went. The owner spoke with us at the bar and you can tell she really cares about the place. Looking forward to returning.

The service is excellent; the atmosphere is beautiful and quaint; the food is incredibly fresh and light. The caprese salad, polenta, lasagna and wine were absolutely delicious. A great spot for groups, a date night or anyone who wants to enjoy great wine and food without having to deal with the crazy crowds. So happy Hampton Bays has this beautiful new addition to its outstanding culinary scene. Congratulations to the owners.

I went to the Wine Room at the Cottage this past weekend with a few friends when I was visiting the area. It’s a great new place with a good selection of wines and comfortable decor. The staff was wonderful and the food was delicious. I wish I lived closer!

A bit of paradise. Thank you Dayne & Team. Great French food with a wonderful selection of wines, plus Brazilian music on the evening we were there- think we are in heaven. We are so lucky to have a restaurant with such well crafted food, drink & atmosphere. Great to warm one’s soul, for dates, solo dinner or business. What a gem!!!!
