Nice local bar, the only one in the Pass, but for whatever reason their drinks are double from anywhere else! One shot of Patron is $16.50. Two shots of Crown $17.00.. This is insane when most establishments aim to make double the price of a bottle. Patron Silver is less than $50, which means the shot should be no more than $8-9. A shot of Crown is $2.50 at a liquor store, yet $8.50 here. Aside from their prices it’s a great place. I choose to not have a drink here due to the high prices.

Very intimate little bar that makes some of the best old fashions around. The bartenders are excellent, and the atmosphere is very charming. They have live music pretty often, so check out their Facebook for announcements. We usually head here with friends after dinner to keep the night going a little longer.

This is hands down the best spot to go when in Pass Christian! Such a friendly and fun atmosphere. The live music was great and the drinks were even better, 10/10 would recommend. (Always ask for Pauline, she’s the best)

I loved the experience! When you go to this establishment, The Whiskey Bay be ready to get a special greeting from Sadie she is lit for fun with her beautifully designed collar. A Labrador who is loving, friendly and and puts a topping on the perfect evening.

As a lover of bourbon or a good Old Fashioned, discovering this place off the cuff was an absolute treat. Between the high quality selections, unique specials, simple yet fun events, and an atmosphere that feels more like a private home bar rather than something contrived, this is my new “favorite” bar.
The seats are comfy, the fire is warm, the drinks kick the right way, and the bartenders, like David, Paulina ,Bruce, Lauren, plus the owner, Cathrine, really know how to make you feel at home.
Even in a time of strife and struggle, The Whiskey Bar proves itself to be a quiet, strong, relaxing locale for hanging out with small groups of friends, or unwinding solo in front of a fire after a long day at work. This is a gem of the Coast, and always well worth a visit.a

Not great for tourists, clearly a locals bar. Too much PDA at the bar between patrons. Not welcoming and the bartender should know her inventory! The Knob Creek Smoked Maple was right there! Had to tell her where to find it. Not a great experience! Would have stayed and spent more $ but could not tolerate the atmosphere.

The Whiskey Bar is the perfect addition to Pass Christian. Met a few friends for drinks and we were welcomed with open arms. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxed. I love the cozy feel of the fireplace and rustic furniture. Drinks were fantastic, love the unique specials, and bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to go back!
