We recently tried out Bendición de Dios, and honestly, the experience was fantastic. We’re not from the area, but the food photos and reviews caught our eye—and they did not lie. Everything we tried was really, really good. The service was also top-notch—our server was super pleasant and always had a smile, which made us feel really welcome.

We ended up ordering pupusas—specifically the revueltas and the queso y puerco—and good God, they were absolutely delicious. You can really taste the love and care in every bite. So if you’re looking for a place with great food and a warm atmosphere, I definitely recommend giving them a visit!

Delicious pupusas. Mr. Omar the man at the register gave excellent service. Very sweet man. Friendly, funny, great service. Simple place. Love the scripture that they hang throughout the restaurant. Very pleased. First time. Will definitely return. Love little hidden gems like this! Only got a pic of my last bite!

Casual, friendly, family owned restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. They have their 1 yr anniversary today.

Stop by and enjoy a delicious meal. I sure did and will be dropping by again and letting my coworkers know about this place.

The young man running the restaurant this evening is very friendly and has the right attitude for any food establishment. They have about 8 booths and 2 other sets of tables indoors and a couple more tables outside.

I had the fried tilapia and was given a marañon iced drink on the house. (Marañon is a cashew fruit which I just learned today.) Got to try it if you like to explore new flavors. The fried tilapia was not salty which typically is the issue at many other restaurants that do any fried fish. It came with a fresh half lime which was just right for this meal.

7/28/25 – still coming here regularly whenever I am in the area. Customer service is excellent and friendly and food is delicious no matter what you choose.

We stopped in for dinner takeout. The young man at the counter was very friendly and helpful with any of our questions. The food was delicious and the pupusas were just as I remember from when I visited El Salvador years ago. Would recommend.

I stopped here for central american ordered the Tajadas Con carne Which is one of my all time? Favorite meals in Honduras in El salvad outside the door this one came with some kind of weird sweet white sauce. The meat was sweet and not at all salty, which usually when I’ve had it all over Honduras. The meat is salty and low spicy with a tomato sauce on not at all authentic to what I’ve had in my 10 years living in hundreds and working throughout Central America, the service was excellent. Food, just not that good. I may try different dish the next time I go.

This place is an absolute hidden gem. We came expecting some good food; we were absolutely blown away by the quality, portions, prices, and the friendliness and service of everyone there. Everything was extremely clean as well, and the atmosphere was one of the most positive we have experienced anywhere. Easily our new favorite restaurant in Danville and favorite Salvadoran restaurant, and ranks very highly among our overall favorite restaurants. We can’t wait to come back!

Our meal was delicious! Everything was fresh and the flavors were out of this world . The young man that waited on us kind and explained the menu . We will definitely be back . Can’t wait to try their other entrees. The picture is the fried chicken over green bananas. Imagine our surprise when they brought out the dish
