And they NEVER have cookies. It takes no time to make them and you’re not busy enough to where you can’t. I’ve worked at a busier one. I’ve been here at least a dozen times and they never have them made. Especially not the seasonal one.
And I get this is a company thing but who t decided flat bread was a good idea? To replace wraps with!!? I want a wrap cause I don’t want the bread…. But my options are… bread… or FLAT bread..?
I also asked since I couldn’t order online. Could I still get the special of $6.99 per sandwiches & the girls told me they weren’t a participating restaurant. That there manager opted out of any online specials. However, if you look at Subway online, it lists them as participating.
Wendy, complained that it was “too much” said we should have called it in. We explained that they wouldn’t answer the phone or we would have. She continued to complain and was very rude. Then completely blamed it all on her boss. I am pretty sure the boss doesn’t encourage rude behavior but I suppose I will never know.
Against our better judgement, we bought the $125 dollars worth of sandwiches to make a delivery to the tornado victims and workers helping.
Thank you Wendy for your compassion.
I got there about 40 minutes before closing time on a Saturday night (Oct. 19th to be exact). There was a young man sweeping the floor and young woman at the bar. When I pulled up, the young man looked out the windows and saw me pulling up and it looked like someone took the wind out of his sails and he said something to the young lady behind the counter. I walked into the restaurant and greeted them both with a “Hello, how are you doing?” The reply I got back was in unison and instantaneous, “We’re closing up for the night, come back tomorrow.” I looked at the food bar and sure enough, everything was put away and they were cleaning up. I told them, if they were closed for business, I’d suggest, turning off the OPEN sign, locking the door and changing their business hours posted on the door and website to accurately reflect the business hours. The only reason I stopped in was becasue of the Open sign lit up at the door. I’m sure the owner probably has a different idea about business hours and refusing to serve customers more than 30 minites before closing, but if not, I’d like to see the suggested updates so folks don’t waste their time pulling in and troubling the staff to serve food. Sonic was happy to help that night. I most likely won’t trouble the Subway in Melbourne with my business in the future, unless it’s the only place open. Better plan to get there MUCH sooner if you expect to get served. Good luck with your new building up the road, make sure to post accurate hours of operation to accurately reflect hours you actually serve good, please.
