Beware Prices are not what they post on their website. Once you go pick up your food you are charged a restaurant fee even if you are not dining in, when ask about the price change in the food prices , their response is “sorry” . The chicken pastelitos are more potato’s than chicken and not worth $3.50 each. They were very small. I will go back to the Salvadoran restaurant on Vinton it’s a little bit farther for me but it’s worth the price and the quality of the food. I attached a picture of our receipt and the menu that they post on their Facebook site

I have to admit I have not eaten here before. I am a bit disappointed because I am not sure I will try the food now. I was walking by after being at the business next door and I did slow down and take a glance at the pictures at the front door. I was also checking my phone. Then I continued to walk down the side of the building to head home. Someone opened the side door and yelled down the street at me. I assume he was an employee as it was not the main entrance. Now I can’t say I know his intentions for sure, maybe he was trying to get me in there to buy food. Regardless of his intentions I was very uncomfortable with the situation. I left 4 stars because you are a small business and I don’t want to hurt your ratings over what is possibly a misunderstanding. But I wanted to reach out about the situation and was nervous he would answer if I called into the store.

The pupusas are very good. We got cheese, zucchini, bean, and pork rind ones. Everything was hot when we got home and I’d definitely order from here again.

Food quality was delightfully fresh and flavorful. We ordered 3 kinds of pupusas (pork, shrimp, spinach). Each had its own unique taste and seemed made fresh with care. We also had the Camarones a la diabla (Spicy Shrimp) and I would definitely get that again! The spice on that was unique and SOOO gooood. And you can’t go wrong with the fried plantains. The venue is cozy and clean. The waiter and cashier was the main person. He answers the phone in Spanish but he also speaks English so don’t be afraid to proceed in either language. So friendly. We will definitely be back! Yum!

Delicious food and great service! We’ve got takeout several times. Each time the food is hot and fresh. We are always greeted warmly. The owner is very kind, you can tell he is passionate about the restaurant. The food is great. Our favorites are the “scrambled” pupusas (pork, cheese, and beans), the spinach pupusas, the sweet plantains, and the hibiscus drink.
