We stopped by this fast food Mediterranean spot and tried the falafel — it was delicious, perfectly crunchy on the outside and flavorful inside. The service was excellent and fast, and the place was very clean and inviting. I definitely plan to come back soon!

Falafel Taza is one of those places that instantly feels right the moment you walk in. Family-owned, warm, welcoming, and proudly serving authentic Lebanese food that’s clearly made with care and tradition.

The food is straight-up delicious. The falafel is crisp on the outside, fluffy and flavorful on the inside not dry, not greasy, just perfect. Everything tastes fresh, balanced, and thoughtfully seasoned. You can tell these recipes weren’t rushed or copied they’re passed down, practiced, and respected.

What really seals it is the vibe. There’s a genuine, homegrown family energy here friendly faces, real conversations, and people who actually care that you enjoy your meal. It doesn’t feel transactional; it feels personal.

If you’re craving Lebanese food that’s comforting, authentic, and consistently hits, Falafel Taza is an easy go-to. Simple, soulful food done right the kind of spot you’re happy to support again and again.

Warning: the bowl is basically 85% rice. Absolutely wasn’t looking to pay $16 + tip for this. At a minimum they could’ve added more veggies. The picture is the exact plate without the pita. What a rip off. Taste wise, the chicken was flavorful but that’s about it.

Falafel Tazah – Perfect Pre-Lights Stop

If you’re heading to see the Christmas lights at Eucalyptus Ave in San Carlos, Falafel Tazah is the perfect spot to grab a bite! I tried both the chicken and falafel shawarma, and they were equally delicious.

The staff is incredibly polite and friendly, making the experience even better. Highly recommend stopping by before enjoying the festive lights!

I ordered a falafel wrap to go. They ask if you want it spicy, I said yes and it was indeed a good kick of heat.

Why only 3 stars? For the price ($13), I feel like you don’t get much. The food was good but the wrap did not have much to it. It felt like half of my bites were just bread and sauce and the other half had the falafel and flavor.

Service was quick but not super friendly. It was my first time and they didn’t ask if I had any questions or offer any suggestions.

I had the pleasure of dining at Falafel Tazah just now and I have to thank God for bringing me in here with the wind today.

I was greeted by Gerson, who provided customer service and prepared the lamb/beef plate I just had the pleasure of feasting on.

The flavors were impactful and life-changing, in a great way. I enjoyed the hummus (8.5/10, but to be fair, I am a bit of a hummus connoisseur). The lamb and beef was a clear 9.5/10. The salad was good and the pita bread was fresh.

What stood out to me the most was the overall experience, which started with the friendly and speedy service, continued with great blasts of flavor, and ended with me having extra food for later due to the solid portion size.

I 100% recommend anyone to come here and try it out for yourself.

Well done, Falafel Tazah. Next time I come back, I’d have to try the Falafel. 🙂

The food here is incredible. Everything was perfectly marinated and flavored. The hummus has a lot of flavor and the chicken was perfectly juicy. I recommend everyone to come here for amazing middle eastern style food.

Pretty good schwarma, kind of dry but the sauce helps. Tabouleh was really watery. The hottest sauce tasted like olives got some reason. No fountain drinks.

Food is nothing exceptional, good not great. The service was good. And sitting outside on a sunny day was nice. A bit on the pricier side tho.
