Never had Jacks before today. Pleasantly surprised by a fast food burger. Burgers had the taste of a classic McDonald’s burger or Krystal slider without the soggy bun. Burgers were hot. They fries were kind of thick and soft not my preference but they were warm. Staff was super friendly. 10 bucks for two burgers in today’s economy too sheesh what a steal.

My first time to eat at a Jack’s.. Although, I could have done without the bone in my ham biscuit…? See photo.. What is up with that? Chip a tooth at the
Very least.. If this is normal for them, they may want to rethink it.. Anyway, biscuit was delicious..

!!! ATTENTION CORPORATE!!!
I had been standing in line for a few minutes already when an employee at register told another employee to cut in line in front of me so she could order her food and take a break, neither of them asked me if it was okay which I think is very rude and says a lot about how they were raised. Cashier took her time to take my order while she played catch up, after 10 minutes standing there I finally said ok I’m ready to order and she just looked at me like I was being rude, I stood there a little while longer before she actually took my order which was a burger combo with a strawberry shake. Meanwhile during the wait other employees complained about customers in drive through being too lazy to cook at home. Again the cashier and her coworkers continued to do their complaining and I could see that my burger had been set out for delivery, but I patiently waited for it. Minutes later the cook came to the counter and asked me what I had ordered, I told her and she set my order on a tray while the cashier did other things instead of what she should’ve done earlier in the day. Most of these employees were on their phones constantly which has me thinking it’s the reason they’re always behind on their work and taking it out on customers and also they need to learn how to do their jobs without being unsanitary. A quick reminder that Without customers there’s no business, and without business those employees don’t have a job. Probably should randomly review footage on these employees, and weed out the Lazy people who are constantly on their phones, otherwise this place won’t last long.
As for the drumstick , well I’m guessing it was supposed to be a Hush treat in hopes that I wouldn’t post this review.

I was at the Love’s next door and saw this place next door.

I went there during lunchtime, it was moderately busy.

The restaurant was clean.

The employee taking orders was very dry and appeared to hate her job.

No greeting just, “What do you want.”

I had d the Big Bacon Burger.

The burger was ok. Not “Big” by any means. The bacon was the standard issue fast food thin overdone charcoal. Fries were a bit above average.

They offered other lunch items to include chicken, ice cream, and shakes.

Overall a place I would not really go out of my way to try.

Today was my first visit, and I was truly impressed. The food was fresh and full of flavor comforting in the best way, like grandma’s cooking on a Sunday morning before church. The grits absolutely stole the show: perfectly creamy, with no need for added salt or butter. The eggs were cooked just right. I honestly had no complaints, which is rare for me.

Christian was exceptionally polite and made my visit feel welcoming and personal. Having someone on your team who demonstrates genuine customer service makes a real difference. I wasn’t very familiar with what Jack’s offers, but I’m so glad I stopped by today. This visit definitely won’t be my last.

We got a to go order of 10pc chicken, 3 sides, and 5 biscuits for about $38. It took 45 mins, but it was ready at the time we were given when the order was placed. All of the food was hot, delicious, and more than enough.

When trying a new fast food place, I always find it best to try the most basic items before trying something else.

When it comes down to it, the standard basic cheeseburger is the absolute best way to judge a place.

The new Jack’s just opened in Flowood – Hwy 80 across from the Outlet Mall – and I snuck over here to grab a quick lunch.

Their 2 Cheesburger combo with fries.

I really enjoyed the fries. Crinkle cut fries are some of my favorite and their fries are no exception. Crispy and salted perfectly. Their salt was a finer grind than most restaurants – I liked this a lot. Reminded me of the way potato chips are salted.

The burgers were good. Small cheeseburgers – as to be expected when you get two of them. Flavorful and seasoned better than the average fast food burger. Jack’s sauce, pickle, onion.

Really enjoyed it. They have a much bigger menu that includes fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and even hand-scooped ice cream.

Good service too! Nice people.

We had an amazing time tonight! Everyone told us we had to try out Jack’s and I’m so glad we did! Ms. Gloria, Ms. Lawanda, Alexis, and Tiffany were all so helpful from the moment we walked through the door. They all had a smile on their faces and willing to do whatever they needed to ensure we enjoyed our time! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars because they deserve it! Not only was the service great, but the food was delicious!

Just learned this is not short for Jack In The Box. Very polite workers. The bacon burger was really good. A lot more flavor than a regular fast food burger. And the mash potatoes and gravy had a lot of flavor also. And great prices. If I lived here, I would return definitely.
