What a surprise! Who needs ferns and brass railings when the food is so delish? Filet mignon and ribs were great. The filet was truly medium rare, as ordered, with a wonderful sear. The twice mashed potatoes were tasty too. And the owner checked on our table twice. Our waitress was a sweetheart, prices were great, portions are hearty and I was truly pleasantly surprised. We are taking home plenty— for tomorrow when we recover from this bounty.

We stopped in again July 27th. Even though it was taking longer than normal for our food, it was perfect. We tried the catfish, very very good. Even with the minor problem we had you went beyond to make sure we happy. You do a great job with excellent service and food. We love this place. Well worth the hour drive to see you.

This place is cozy with small town charm. The Filet mignon is my favorite…..always cooked to perfection. And the waitress is such a sweetheart. Both the waitress and the owner are always willing to go above and beyond to make your dinner a wonderful one.

The last few times my family has ordered our food wasn’t even done. Steaks were rare as rare can be when supposed to be medium rare. Baked potatoes were old and cold. Yet we waited 45 min when ordering. Shouldn’t have to re cook our steaks before we even eat it

Both of us had the meatloaf , green beans and mashed potatoes. The meat was cold, beans Luke warm plus it cost 12.00 If we had known this we would have went else where. The ice tea was good.
