The fresh spring rolls were Perfect and full of flavor, as was the dipping sauce.(I cleaned the little cup out)
Masaman curry is usually my test dish and it did not disappoint. Full of flavor and thick, portion sizes were also great. The basil chicken also had a nice punch and was great for someone looking to eat something “clean”.
Drink prices were a little high so next time I will be sticking with water.
The servers were very polite and friendly but I hope they get more help soon!
This restaurant is a wonderful addition to Janesville and the surrounding area and it looks like people are starting to notice based on the flow of people!
Thank you for a wonderful meal.
The servers were very attentive. The food was fresh and as good if not better than most of the Thai restaurants I’ve eaten at.
The building is old so there is a bit of a musty smell but that was part of the charm.
If you are dining there on a weekend I’d recommend making a reservation. When we arrived at 5:30 pm on a Saturday the place was packed and there isn’t a very large space to stand and wait for a table.
I enjoyed the panang curry and it was outstanding. My fellow dinners had the cashew chicken and the pad lawn with chicken and both were delicious.
Not only will I return but I’ll drive the 25 minutes there and forego the two local Chinese restaurants to eat here.
This is now my goto restaurant for outstanding Asian food in rural southern Minnesota.
In the beginning, our service wasn’t the greatest as the waiter took the order of one table that sat after us and he was about to do another table that sat after us until I got his attention and then he came over to take our order… this was just a blip though, because it was taking a long time for us just to order, but once we ordered our food it came out very fast.
For appetizers, we ordered the chicken satay and cream cheese wontons (we ended up ordering one more of the wontons because they were that delicious). The chicken satay was juicy and tender. It does have yellow curry so there’s a tiny bit of spice to it, but with the peanut sauce, it’s great.
In our group, we ordered pineapple fried rice (spice level 2 which had a kick but still tasted good. Also, my brother, who ordered the pineapple fried rice got the sweet and sour sauce to pour on it… which I highly recommend).
My mother got the wonton soup and that was on point with delicious broth.
I got Pad Thai with shrimp, no spice, and no green onions. Instead of a lime, they gave a lemon wedge to squirt on it, which was fine. The Shrimp Pad Thai was very delicious, with a mild sweetness and lots of shrimp (they do leave the tails on but in Thai restaurants that’s common).
Overall the food was excellent and regardless of any minor service hiccups and a plain Jane atmosphere… we will definitely go back! We drove over from Mankato and it’s totally worth the trip. I’d go as far as to say that this is the best Thai food in southern Minnesota. The prices are very reasonable as well.
I strongly suggest that you try this restaurant even if it’s a bit of a drive, it’ll be a good choice.

We went there tonight and got two orders of sesame chicken. I’m not sure if they made one batch and split them (one normal spice, one medium spice), but my wives portion was very small.
We also tried the spicy wings, they were overcooked. Nice spice, just overcooked.
The cream cheese wantons were outstanding.
