Really I should give no stars, because there were flies. All over the food. On the cakes/cookies and the salad bar. How is this even a thing?
The owner (I think it’s the owner) seems like a truly wonderful women. She was friendly and nice. Food was made promptly. Food appears to be good. I didn’t actually end up eating it. It also is super cool that there is seating available. I’d really like to come back, and give this place a five star, but the flies… They really gotta go.

Very friendly place and a pleasure to visit. The pastries are delightful, the breakfast is average. Items are on the pricey side. The owner is a friendly bubbly woman always having kind things to say.

If you are in New City and seek a glatt kosher meal this is the go to destination. Enjoy the wit and unfiltered charm and barbs of the proprietor. Feels as if you are in her kitchen as she serves a mouth watering lox and onions omelet. Every day is a Challah day here at this down home kosher but always scrumptious gastronomical
gathering place.
Enjoy the experience– you will not be disappointed.

The most unique and delicious challah ever. We had three one “everything” one cinnamon and one chocolate chip. I think I ate the cinnamon one all by myself and really didn’t want to share. The everything was perfect with our Shabbat meal. Well what do I need to say about chocolate except chocolate and, of course, delicious

I order a lot from here. The food is very good. Highly recommended. Most of the time I take to go, but today I decided to eat in , very relaxing atmosphere, the food tastes better when you’re not rushed.

We stopped by yesterday,on our way from NYC to Montgomery, NY, specifically to buy some of those wonderful challah. We purchased 4 loaves and also a chocolate babka, that has the reputation of being the best ever. When we arrived home, I put up a frest pot of coffee and sliced some of that famous babka. I was really disappointed. The bobka was very stale and dried out. I don’t think this was the way it was supposed to taste and I couldn’t find a date on the box but it was definitely stale, even my husband had to agree. I had the challah before and it is outstanding. I was hoping for the same outcome with the babka!
Sorry,
