First and foremost, I was real hesitant about ordering from this place. I ordered a turkey sandwich and seasoned fries and a brisk iced tea soda when the guy walked away from this cash register to do my order I stated to ask him was he making my food the worst food CARRYOUT EVER HOLY COW on BRANCH AVE TEMPLE HILLS MD I’ve ever tasted in such a long time. The turkey was nasty. The fries didn’t have no seasoning on them. I called the store and spoke to the gentleman that made my order and he gonna tell me, sir. This is the first time I’ve ever heard anybody say this to me about OUR food. THEY ALSO DONT HAVE NO HEAT ON DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE….

I kept seeing videos on TikTok about this place and decided to try. I can say that this place makes a good burger, and the loaded fries are also very good, I feel the fries themselves can be a meal on their own. The burger I got was on the thin side (of course because it’s a smash burger) so maybe consider a double?

I stopped by Holy Burger for dinner and honestly this place exceeded expectations. The burgers were cooked perfectly with crispy edges and still juicy inside, you can tell they use fresh products and is made to order. I ordered the double smash onion burger combo and got a milk shake
Fries came out hot and seasoned well, not greasy, and the portions were generous. The milkshake was thick and tasted made-to-order, not syrupy like most fast food spots.
The staff was friendly and the food came out fast even though it was busy, which tells me the kitchen runs efficiently. The dining area was clean and well maintained, and it felt comfortable to sit and eat instead of just grabbing takeout.
This is definitely a good spot for late night food or a quick lunch. Compared to other burger places nearby, the quality here feels closer to a sit-down burger restaurant but at fast-casual speed.
Will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu.

My son treated me to this place tonight for dinner. I like these mini smash like burgers. The soft buns, I think the onions are caramelized because they are sweet, the right amount of cheese and some sort of specialized house mayonnaise.

They started strong, but this is not the holy cow of New York. On eighth or ninth order and the quality keeps going down.
One of these photos is the same item I ordered a a month ago (gluten free tenders) and the other is from what I got tonight. The first was clearly actual fresh chicken breast. The second looks and tastes like it came out of a freezer box .
But, at least they have my order this time. Once I ended up paying twice because they said someone else picked it up.

I’ll preface this by saying that I used to be a regular of the original Holy Cow on 29th Street in New York, and I haven’t always been as into the newer branches.
This one, though, is excellent. The core burger and fry offerings are great (always the most important test) and they were so hot and fresh that they stayed warm by the time I got home about an hour later. I’ve tried several items at this point, most recently the tenders.
I see Jovan’s review about how he found his order quality declined, with an example photo of his tenders, but I’m happy to say that whatever issue was going on then is over now because the tenders I got were like his ‘before’ pick. Juicy fresh meat and a perfect crunch outside.

Extensive and appetizing plant based menu, we tried the chicken sandwich and turkey sandwich, delicious! Only cons are automated ordering (pandemic vibes) and the only employee working pickup area had issues understanding English when was asked for vegan mayo to go, which is noted as an available option on the ToastTab website.

I can’t remember the exact day I believe it was about a week ago. I did overtime this particular day and it was too late to cook. My intentions were to go to NY Chicken in Temple Hills,MD but I seen someone post this spot on tick too and decided to give it a try. I got one the specials which was a double smashed burger with fries and a drink. My fries were fresh and cooked to perfection. My burger wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. It tasted like it was already made so if someone came and ordered a burger they had one on deck. And it wasn’t hot . I will come back again at a decent hour when I know my food will be cooked to order.

It was very pleasant quit clean atmosphere yeah it’s just all around good only had one issue the sliders it’s a chicken nugget on the chicken slider I thought it was like a chicken tender the chopped burger it’s pretty decent I’m a vegan so I got the vegan one I got pictures it fries are good too the seasoned fries They good and I got the vegan holy sauce that’s pretty decent too so overall four stars food as y’all see is three service and atmosphere is five I recommend y’all go through and holler take it easy…

I decided it was time to check out Holy Cow Burgers since I heard they have a special on Thursdays. I got the smash burger combo. As far as size, the portion was for a child. The cheeseburger was so small, you could barely taste the beef. I don’t want to compare it to a saying we use to hear “Where’s the ….”. I didn’t see it. The small portion of french fries could actually be counted out. However, you pay for what you get for just under $6 plus tax. I may try them out again, not for the specials. Thanks #28screwsinmyback
